How many of us struggle with having enough courage and self esteem?
This audio recording by Earl Nightingale in the Essence of Success series is a must have for anyone that has trouble with courage and self esteem.

One part of this essence of Success audio that I liked was how Earl Nightingale talks about how no two people are the same.  This automatically means that we immediately can stop feeling inferior or superior to people as it is completely irrelevant!  It doesn’t matter because everyone is as unique  as each snowflake.

What I found most motivational is how he ties Courage and self esteem into freedom.
The idea that everyone wants happiness would be universally accepted.  The key to this freedom is a matter of applying courage and self esteem to achieve your goals.

You see, it takes a great deal of courage to stand up for what you believe.  In this recording Earl Nightingale asks:

What do YOU believe?

All too often do we as a society try to fit in with everyone else.  We dress the same as others, talk the same, hang out with the same people.  When asked a question like what do you believe, the majority of people may stop and wait for the other to speak.
Afraid of if the answer won’t be accepted by the other members of the group.

It takes a great deal of courage to leave the “heard” and go after you dreams.
This is what separates the average people from the extraordinary.  Think of any great leader in history, they are famous because they found for what they believed and had enough self esteem to go after it and in the process inspire countless people.  They wouldn’t be remembered after they are gone if they had no courage and self esteem, these two things are powerful tools to create the life you want to live.
