If you’ve been following my blogs over the past week you would certainly have understood that I am presently house sitting at my father’s home.
This is your home I grew up in and a couple of times I found myself thinking about the past. Some good, probably much more bad memories though …
Our domesticity had not been the happiest and because of this as a teen I believe I didn’t truly deal with it effectively. Much of my time as a teen was invested drinking and smoking pot, since I am older I recognized that this was additional of a means to escape truth as opposed to handling my issues. This is a typical case of living in the past, as opposed to utilizing these challenges to my benefit and wearing it for my future, I let them affect me a lot more than they had to.

Our past does not identify our future, if this had not been the instance there would be no “rags to riches” story, no disabled individual doing something they were informed they can never do. Individuals wouldn’t have actually been able to transform their enjoys around from medicine obsession to then coming to be successful.
Don’t Live in the past, every little thing that takes place to us can be used to our advantage or to our hindrance. We could decide to pick up from our errors or become a sufferer of life.

I think Bruce Springsteen places it ideal in his traditional tune “Glory Days”.
Just sitting back trying to recapture a little of the Glory of, well time slips away and leaves you nothing nothing mister but boring stories of Glory Days
If you’ve never ever actually listened to the words of this song, it’s not really a good track on people’s “Glory Days”. The track has to do with individuals that he understood that all they did was discuss the “great old days” and never had any brand-new days to discuss.
When you’re living in the past, you cannot concentrate on today or the future.
It depends on you, don’t live in the past and start working to the future.
