I was in a traditional business for many years, even long before the invention of the world wide web, so I know the headaches that come with marketing a traditional business and the cost associated with trying to learn it for yourself, if you want to know how to market online in this day and age, you have to pay a small fortune, I saw one guy this week charging over £5,000 for a 12 set DVD course, and people are paying it. Don’t get me wrong, he is good and provides very valuable content, but £5k does put off a lot of people.
The best online marketers in the world by far are some of the internet marketers and home business owners. This group of people are way better at marketing than any agency that a large company would pay hundreds of thousands of pounds to use.
Home business online marketers all started from scratch with no knowledge of marketing online, so they have had to learn as they go and learn quickly, their livelihood depends on it. A lot of the time they start with a network marketing company, and this is the perfect place to learn online marketing for free, almost all network marketing companies run training on all elements of marketing and even personal development which is another aspect required in business.
I see a lot of network marketers who start with no experience at all and 12 months later are setting up a website building business or maybe becoming social media managers for companies or training managers, but they learned their trade online within the home business industry.
The online marketers are the first to use any tools released online for marketing your business, they are the forerunners of G+, Facebook and Twitter, they are the most common bloggers and website builders, they can use eBay to generate sales, Aweber to send messages to vast amounts of people that they have successfully had opt in to their list, they are not afraid to give anything a go to generate business, and the traditional companies should start looking at these guys, and not turn up their noses at the mention of a network marketer or home business owner.
Oh, and you can also make a shed load of money while you learn!
