Andrevilaca

He reads a book and then writes down the three or four lines that stayed with him, which is a better use of a blog than most people manage. From one of them: what we have been is fixed and unchangeable, and what we can still become carries no limit at all.

The identity iceberg gets two posts, on the idea that whatever people see of you sits above a great deal they never do, and that changing the visible part without touching what holds it up achieves nothing.

He is blunt about staying put. If you are somewhere you do not want to be, then whatever you have been doing brought you there, so the doing has to change before the place will.

Two short posts are simply about the seasons, and they read as somebody pausing rather than teaching.

Eleven posts, none of them long. Read the one about why he reads, then go and read what he read.
