The Value of Attitude

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Here’s what I’ve learned today:

Attitude is Everything!

We didn’t choose to be here, in this world. That was something that happened to us, and there’s no point argue about it. However, since we are here, I believe that we have no right to be anything less than the best we can be! The all meaning of life is to grow, to evolve, in every aspect. If you live your life always in the same “plateau”, you are wasting your life, you are wasting a bless and a gift that was given to you. Therefore every person should strive to be better than he was yesterday. Many will say “Wealth is evil”, but I say “Poverty is evil!”. If many others were able to accumulate a considerable amount of money from nothing, why can’t we? And if we are still poor by now, we can only blame ourselfs for choosing to be poor, for choosing not to develop our individual talents. That is why I say “Poverty is evil”.

We were not put on this world to live a life of poverty. We were created with a unique and complete set of skills that we are to develop to make our lives better and the lives of those around us better. So why is it so difficult to do just that? The reality is … it is not difficult at all! It is us who make it complicated by placing limits on our abilities!

“The only limits known to Man are those imposed by himself”

Placing limits on our abilities is what I call “having a bad attitude”. Why not “What an interesting opportunity!” instead of “It is too difficult for me”? why not “I need to grow a little more” instead of “If it was easier I would do it…”? Why not “I’m gonna be the first to do it!” instead of “If ot has not been invented yet, how can I do it?!”. The difference between living an exceptional life and living a mediocre life is in our attitude!! And if we think about it…our attitude is one of the few things that we can choose and control in life!

“Attitude determines choice, and choice determines results”

Let me know your thoughts on the subject! :)
