Do you want to be rich? If so, you won’t!
Do you want to be rich? Ask this question to most people and you can bet your bottom dollar that they will say yes. In fact, they would probably look at you as if you were crazy. “Of course I want to be rich,” they would say.
Would you believe me that in actual fact, most folk do not actually want to be rich?
Yes, it is true. And the reason is because deep down, they have a lot of negativity towards the concept. Hear me out.
Do you want to be rich?
OK, have a look at the below tidbits and see if you have ever said, or at least thought them:
- Money does not really make you happy.
- Look at that guy in the Benz (What a flash *%!$).
- Money cannot buy you love (easy for the Beatles to say).
- Rich? I could lose my health trying
- I will have to learn about tax strategies (I have done this)
- If I make more, I will go into a higher tax bracket.
The list is endless. And if you have said or thought any of the above, that is cool. There is no shame in it. I have done it. It is part of human nature.
Luckily, for all this negativity, when we are asked “Do you want to be rich?” there are also lots of positive thoughts that come into our minds too.
- I could travel anywhere I want
- I have always wanted a Benz (and be a flash *%!$).
But have one of these thoughts and the negative side of you inadvertently chimes in with a negative comment.
It is up to you to block out those negative comments when they appear.
Do you want to be rich?
It all comes down to how the universe works. And in a nutshell you get what you ask for. You send out messages to the universe based on your beliefs. And if those beliefs are negative, then what do you think you will get back from the universe in return? Yep, you got it. Nothing at all!
So, do you want to be rich? If you send out a ‘well of course I do, I really want a new car’ message, then the universe will hear you. But if, a few seconds later, you send out a ‘rich people are greedy’, then the universe will hear that. And the first message will be gone.
Rich people do not have these wavering messages. They are fully committed to being rich. It goes far beyond a simple want. As soon as a negative message enters their mind, they eradicate it right away.
It must be legal, ethical and moral of course, but if you want to be rich, then you must be fully and totally committed to it.
If you are one of the folk who think ‘Rich people will do anything, regardless of whether it is legal or moral or ethical’, then you have issues with the concept of becoming rich and are subconsciously sending out negative messages to the universe.
You cannot just want to be rich. You may as well just be twiddling your thumbs. It is not just gonna happen.
You must commit to it. Make a decision and then commit to it. Do what it takes. For as long as it takes. Not moaning, no ifs and buts. No whining.
I have made that commitment. I will be rich. Rich enough to have the freedom to live my life how I see fit. To spend time with my family. To travel when I want. Not have to do a job I dislike. I will get there.
So, ‘do you want to be rich’? OR, are you really committed?
