With so many people on the Internet these days, the importance of tribe traffic cannot be underestimated. But what exactly do I mean and what exactly am I talking about?
Probably something like this image on the lefties the first thing that comes to mind when you thnk of the word tribe.
In the land of the internet, a tribe is something pretty similar.
According to wikipedia, a tribe refers to societies organized largely on the basis of kinship.
And online, it is pretty much just that. A group of people that help each other out for the greater good of the whole. That is tribe traffic.

A tribe is simply a group of online marketers that get together for the good of the group. They form a bond and through helping each other and promoting each other’s content. And if this is done on a regular basis, it will transform your business. And best of all….. tribe traffic is FREE.
Have you ever spent ages on a blog post, offered some great value, and have no-one comment on it. No likes, no tweets, no +1s. That can be pretty disheartening. What you need, is tribe traffic.
A quick search on Google for ‘tribe’ will probably yield a load of results. It is important that any tribe you join is the right for you. That the members of the tribe post good content.

Ok, so now you are a member of tribe. Now what do you do to get tribe traffic?
Well, you need to commit to commenting and liking the blog posts of others in your tribe to generate momentum.
An easy way to to this is to have all your members sign up for a free program called Blogtrottr. If you enter all the RSS feeds of your tribe member’s blogs into this system, you will automatically get an update every time they make a blog post. That will save you time as you will not have to check their blogs manually.
In return, the members of your tribe will leave comments on your blog. They may also like it or tweet it.
This greatly helps with SEO and Google is more likely to rank you page higher. Then your content will become more visible.
Not only that, but you may just learn something from other tribe members. Long term, you could even get some business off of them too.

Onc way of getting involved in a tribe and getting more tribe traffic is by joining a program called ‘tribe Pro’. This is a bit different in that no real relationships are forged. BUT, yo can get massive back links and this is vital in SEO. Basically, in Tribe Pro, a whole group of people auto-syndicate each other on auto pilot. You set up an account and leave it.
