Blog Content Creation- 5 Tips

Blog content Creation. This is one of the biggest hurdles for bloggers new and old alike. But it needn’t be.

But if you are like the average Joe (sorry if you really are called Joe), then you have probably had problems with blog content creation. I was the same too until I took a course by Ray Higdon called the Pro Blog Academy. Now I paid to take this course, but I am going to share a few nuggets for blog content creation with you here so please do me a favor, and Google+ this post. That fair? Cool.

Blog Content Creation

Blog Content Creation

First, let me tell you a little bit about Ray Higdon and blogging. Well, Ray’s blog was voted number 1 MLM blog in the whole industry in 2012. When you consider how many blogs there are in this industry, then this is a formidable achievement. So when someone has that kind of success, listen. So what I share with you about blog content creation, I learned from Ray.

Tip 1

When you think of blog content creation, do not think ‘what do I blog about’? Think what problem do I solve! That is exactly what you want to think about. What kind of value can I provide? What issues am I addressing?

If you are brand new, then what issues do you have? Reaserch them, find an answer and blog about it.

Not so new? Then think back to issues you had in the past and blog about how you solved them. The possibilities are endless.

Tip 2

If you are still stuck for blog content creation, then have a wander over to your bookshelf. I am sure you have one.

And if you are serious about becoming a success in this industry, then you should have a number of books. These may be self-help, business related…whatever (as long as they are related to your niche). Next, just pick  a few books off the shelf

3 of my favorite sources for blog content creation. If you do not have these books, then I strongly advise you to get them!

Now of course, if other books better fit your niche, then get them, but these 3 books are invaluable for me. Then, after you buy a book, ask yourself why did I buy it?

Now, that is a great blog title. See-easy. Then it time for keyword research.

Tip 3

Attend events! Not only should you be doing this anyway to explode your business, but they will give you ideas.

At these events, do not just be a consumer. By that, I mean be a blog content creation machine. Look at what is being taught, take notes and use them for future blog posts. One event could give you weeks and maybe months of blog topics and titles.

ONE event that you simply MUST NOT MISS is the “Fight the Forces of Evil” event in San Diego- Sept 21st-23rd, 2012. Whatever you do, you have to attend this one. No excuses. Excuses mean lack of commitment and ultimately, failure (well, unless you are in hospital or something like that.

Tip 4

This is going back to the books we mentioned earlier, but if you are still struggling with blog content creation, then take a trip to the local book store. Grab a few books and if there is space to sit down, a cafe or just a few chairs, then flick through them for half and hour to an hour. Take a few notes and bam, you have blog titles galore.

Tip 5

My final tip for blog content creation is a little bit connected with mindset. Do not assume that what you are going to write about has no audience. Many people have ideas, but put them to the back of their mind as they feel that the topic has probably been gone over countless time before.

This is a big mistake. You will put your own unique spin on it.
