Hey, what's going on guys, Paulo CQ here, Cassandra Lee, and together we are The Power Couple. And welcome to another Inner Circle Audio. Man, we love talking to you guys, and I hope you guys have been enjoying these audios. Go ahead and put it in the comments if you have. This topic is going to be extremely strong, right?

This one's called what? Stop Feeding Your Fears. This is so important, man, because a lot of people, you know, we have fears, right? Yeah, absolutely. We all have fears.

What are the fears that we're born with, baby? We're born with two fears, and two fears only. So if you're taking notes, or you're doing something, just remember these two fears, right? Number one, the fear of falling, okay? The fear of falling.

The fear of falling is one of the things that we're born with, okay? The second one is the fear of sound. The fear of sound. Okay? When someone, boom, makes a loud noise, you know, kind of scares you a little bit, right?

And those are the only two fears, which goes to show that all of the rest of the fears are what? I mean, they're made up. They're made up. They're not true, man. It's the fear that comes upon us through tainted experiences in life.

That's what happens. What do you mean by tainted experience? Well, we go through something that, you know, it struck us wrong, right? It tainted our perception. Okay.

Yeah. You're right. It tainted our perception of something, and therefore, now we hold on to these things, and they become our fears. We feed them, and they get bigger, and bigger, and bigger, and bigger, all by stuff that we pour into it, you know? Exactly.

Stuff that we fluff it up with. Yeah. Here's the deal, right, guys? I mean, look. We're obviously in business, right?

You're listening to this. You're in business. You're looking to get in business, so you're a successful business owner, and you guys can probably understand, you can relate, or you're gonna figure something out today, okay? That the number one thing that feeds your fear is time, okay? Time.

Look, we all feel fear. I mean, you see some people who are succeeding at massive levels, and the first thing that comes to your mind is like, wow, man. That person's like, he's numb. He doesn't feel anything. Like, if that was me, I would be so afraid, but the thing is, the truth is, we all feel fear.

Yeah. I mean, you know, what happens is this, right? We call fear something that we feel, when that's not true. That's not true. If I enter a situation, and suddenly this emotion of, where you get like nervous almost, the only time that it becomes fear is when I hold onto it, and I allow it to immobilize me.

But the feeling is not fear. The feeling can become fear. It can become it. It can become fear. If I allow it to.

Yeah. But the moment I remove time, right? Yeah. Meaning I don't let it get big. Yeah.

I just take action on whatever that feeling is. Of course. Then it's not fear. It's not fear. But we all get the feeling that can become fear.

It's kind of like, if we all decided to get on a diet, right? We all get tempted to cheat on the diet. Okay. Like, we all do. Yeah.

You know what I'm saying? Balo and I, it's not like the power couple is just fearless. We get feelings that can put fear into us, but we don't allow it. We don't, because we just kill the gap. Exactly.

The moment you have time to think about something, the moment it just keeps like, it's just in the back of your head. When I was in middle school, I remember, I don't know, for some reason, me and my friend didn't get along, right? We were actually friends, and all of a sudden, there was going to be a fight, okay? The fight, me and him were going to fight after school. The problem was that it was announced in the middle of the day, okay?

It was like around lunchtime, and everybody knew we were going to fight. Everybody knew where we were going to fight, and then from lunchtime all the way to the bell rang. I had so much time in between that from the moment I was so angry, ready to fight him right there, ready to just beat him up, right? And ready to just use my emotions as my strength to go after him, right? By the time the bell rang, that emotion had died out.

There's plenty of time in between. I was thinking about all these different things. I started doubting myself. I started asking myself, am I even going to win this fight? Is this even worth it?

The thing, the problem was that the fight was already scheduled, right? The biggest problem there is that there was time in between. You see, I'm just giving you this as an example, right? Now, am I saying to go out there and fight with people? Absolutely.

Now, I was in middle school, okay? I don't, you know, that's just, you know, I'm not telling you to do that in business. I'm telling you to fight for your dreams, but now you're going to fight random people, right? But the problem was that there was time in between that, and because there was so much time, there was a time gap, I started to get nervous, right? I started to second guess myself, and all this negativity, all these thoughts came into my mind, which is the moment that you know you need to do something, you have to pull the trigger.

You have to pull the trigger. If someone is coming at you, you and your family, you're holding a gun, and you know that person is dangerous, what are you waiting? You can't just point the gun thinking that the person's going to stop. If the person's coming at you full charge, you have to pull the trigger on that gun, because if you don't, they're going to harm your family. They're going to harm you.

And the same thing with your fears. Your fear, okay, is a form of an enemy. It will harm you. It will kill your dreams. It will kill everything about some of the things that you want to do, and in the process of doing that, it's going to harm you, all right, and if you have a family, it's going to harm them, okay, because you never took the action needed to live the life that you want.

So you got to pull the trigger. You got to pull the trigger on that gun, and you got to kill fear. That's how you kill fear. Absolutely, man. You got to just take action on it, you know?

A lot of this stuff is made up. Some of you guys out here have been feeding your fears for way too long. If there's one thing that you can get out of this entire audio, it's to stop feeding your fears, man. To remove all fear. To remove all fear.

So think about it. Some of you have, I mean, what are some fears you may have? If I name one, okay, put it in the comments. My fear is, right, if I name one, put it in the comments, right, is it the fear of failure? Which means you're afraid to get started in something because you're not sure that the result is going to be what you want.

You're afraid that it will be a negative result. You're afraid it will put you in a lower place than what you are now, okay? Okay. Put that in the comments. If that's you, if you're bold enough, say, hey, I'm the one with the fear of failure, okay?

So before you move on to the next one, here's what I just want to add to that, right? Because if that's how you're feeling, then you also need to understand that the only way you're going to succeed is a combination of failure, right? I mean, they normally say success is a poor teacher, failing is a great teacher, right? And the only way you will ever get to wherever you want to go is a combination of mistakes that you do, right? Not so much failures, but mistakes that you need to do, right?

So if that's the case, if success is a combination of mistakes, right, and temporary defeats, then doesn't it make sense, right, to just stop being afraid of failing? And don't you think, don't you think that the same fear that you have to failing, you should put this, that fear should be applied to the fear that's not helping you take action because the biggest fear of them all is that you never succeed. It could be a motivator. So shouldn't you use that same fear and apply it to the fear of if you continue to keep thinking that belief, you know, aren't you, you're never going to get to where you want to go. Right.

Turn it into a fear of success. Oh man, if I don't take action, then I'll never be successful. That scares me. You know, that scares me if I, if I don't take action and then I'll never reach the success I'm looking for. That scares me.

That's a good fear because what happens is then it becomes a motivator. Here's what happens. But check this out. Look to re look, this is one way to get rid of the fear of failure. Okay.

Failure is only considered failing. If you give up, that's it. Failure is considered failure. The moment you give up. So if you never give up, like if you fall and you don't give up, you didn't fail.

You simply tripped and fell and so you get up and you keep it moving. Therefore you're bound to reach success because all you did was trip and fall. Failure is only failure if you give up. So then what are you afraid of? Are you afraid of yourself?

Are you afraid of your, of your, of your lack of commitment to your goals? What is it? What is the fear coming from? Right? Because then it's not failure.

All right. And you got to take action on that immediately. The moment you feel that, you know, fear of failure, again, failure is only failure. If you give up, pull the trigger, just go, just go, because that's the only way you're going to remove fear. Right?

Exactly. Do you have the fear of the unknown where it's, you might succeed, you might fail, you might fall, but you're afraid because you don't even know what's going to happen. Is it going to hurt? Is it going to be fun? This fear of unknown, it's just like this black space in front of you and you're afraid to step in because you have no idea the outcome.

Is it going to benefit you? Is it going to hurt you? You have no idea. And isn't it so funny that most of the things that we love to do at one point were unknown to us. And if that's the case, then how do you know what you're getting involved in is not going to be something you absolutely love, right?

Because I mean, then again, most of the things that you love were unknown. So why not just decide to just take action on it and figure out if this is something you're going to love. You know, and people call this the fear of the unknown, you know, but really it's, it's the lack of trust in who you are. It really is. Because to me, if I see a black space in front of me and I'm told that something that I need is on the other side, but because I don't know what's in the middle, I'm not willing to step in.

It's because I am not confident in how I'll handle myself through whatever shows up. So if I step forward, man, I have total confidence in Cassandra Lee, myself, right? That whatever comes in front of me is something that I will overcome. I do, I have confidence in myself because I have built a track record of previous experiences of challenges that I've faced and that I've consistently overcome. So the fear isn't really the fear of unknown as it is a fear of the trust you have for yourself.

So if you remove that and you say, no, man, look, the way you, the way you overcome the fear of the unknown is by looking at the challenges that come to you right in front of you, at face, right there at that moment. The way you handle that challenge is by thinking of the now. That's it. You know, people think of, oh, but I don't know what's going to happen tomorrow and the next day and the next. No, you're here right now, man.

That's all you have. Who cares about what's going to happen tomorrow? Care about what's happening right now. You remove all fear because the fear of the unknown comes from fear of the future. Like you don't know what's coming.

Why are you focused on what's coming? Focus on what is now. Focus when it's now. That's all you have. That's all you have is right now.

So you, the way you handle now will determine how you handle the next now and the next now. Therefore, it will always be good because the way you handled now is good. If you take action, those of you who aren't taking action on now are the ones that are probably most afraid. So handle the action at now and you'll feel so much better. Man, this is some crazy stuff.

Some of you are like, whoa, whoa, whoa. What did you just say? That just went over my head. I would rewind that and listen to that part again because seriously, man, these fears are so minuscule compared to the success you're looking for, compared to the lifestyle you deserve. And you're letting these little things and you're feeding them time and they're just getting bigger and bigger and bigger.

They're inflating. They're inflating so huge. It's creating this huge gap between you and the life you desire. It's inflating so much, it's just taking you off the ground and creating distance between you and your dreams. Exactly.

So you should just take a needle and pop that balloon. Because it's fake. Fake belief. It's just fake. And just go, you know, land, you know, get closer to your dreams.

Just go for it. You know? Anything else you want to say on that, baby, before I move on to the next fear? No, you can move on. Absolutely.

You covered that very well. Yeah. Okay. And the next fear is the fear of others. Okay?

The fear of perception, the fear of reputation. Okay? I'm trying to name it one thing, but I'm trying to give it to you in different ways, right? It's the fear when you're afraid of the perception of others that they have on you. You're afraid of the reputation you're leaving with others, right?

And what they're saying about you, what they're talking about. You know, you're just afraid of their judgment. Maybe that's what it's called. Fear of judgment. Okay?

If that's you, put that in the comments, man. What do you have to say about that one, baby? This one's big. Man, I used to be afraid most of my life, man. I was afraid of what people were going to say.

But the truth is that people are going to... I'll tell you something really funny, right? I figured this out by going to an event, right? And it doesn't matter what business you're in, right? And me and my wife went to an event where this phenomenal leader, his name is Aaron Rashkin, okay?

He talked about something that's really powerful. And he said, man, you know, some of you guys are so afraid to do and take action because you're so afraid of what other people are thinking. Meanwhile, as you're thinking that the other person is thinking about you, that same person that you think is thinking about you is also thinking the same thing that you're thinking about, which is that someone else is thinking about them in a way where it makes them kind of feel like kind of weird, right? So then you have a whole room full of people. You have a whole room full of people that they think that they're thinking about each other, right?

Yeah, yeah. That's funny. It's hilarious. No one's really thinking about anyone. No one's really thinking about anyone except that they're thinking that people are thinking about them, right?

That's like a whole room of people just thinking about people and thinking, thinking. Well, you know, let me tell you something. The one way to remove this fear is so simple, man. It's so simple. Look, you are what you believe, okay?

You are what you believe. You aren't what others believe, okay? You are what you believe. You become what you believe. You become what other people believe.

Oh, man. I love this, man. Why don't you share with them what you told me when we were back in the day when we were running a martial arts school and I was trying to get over this belief stuff as well, you know, because I was having hard trouble as an instructor believing in myself. And you said something about you gave two examples about colors and also about celebrities. Okay.

So, yeah, I mean, here's the perfect example, right? Baby, name out a color. Green. Green. Okay, so make pretend I have a pen in my hand, right?

I'm holding a green pen in front of my husband, okay? Baby, this pen is purple. Do you believe me? No, it's green. Clearly.

Clearly it's green. I mean, it writes green. I saw it on the paper. I see it in the hands. I see the color.

It's green. It's a green color. No, but it's purple. No, it's green. No, it's a green pen, okay?

I'm telling you it's purple. No, look, listen. I know my colors. I'm not colorblind. This is a green pen, okay?

Bam. Okay, so here's an example right here, right? Okay, so imagine the green pen was symbolic to who you are as a human being. And me, the enemy or the people who you feel are going to judge you, says, you ain't a green pen. You a purple pen.

Dude, what you talking about? I'm green. Are you really going to believe the person calling you a purple pen when clearly what you look like is a green pen, the way you write, it comes out green, right? You're clearly a green pen. Who's the idiot?

The other person. The other person. The person who thinks that green is purple. They're the idiot. They're the idiots, man.

Or think of a celebrity. Name a celebrity, baby. Michael Jordan. Okay, so if Michael Jordan walked in the room and I go, yo, you ain't Michael Jordan. You ain't Michael Jordan.

Security, please get this guy off my face. What is Michael Jordan going to do? He's going to walk right by this guy. He's going to laugh hysterically and say, you obviously know nothing, right? Like you obviously do not know who I am, right?

Dude, I'm the greatest. I'm Michael Jordan, right? I'm MJ. Can you imagine Michael Jordan walking into a room and some idiot goes up to him and says, you are not Michael Jordan. Like you think you're not Michael Jordan, right?

He's going to laugh hysterically and go, wow, like where have you been? You've been living under a rock? Like who are you? It's not going to offend him whatsoever because he knows he's Michael Jordan and he doesn't need to prove it because he knows it and practically everyone else in the room knows it. But this one idiot who thinks he knows doesn't know a thing.

So it's not going to offend him. It's the same thing, man. So this fear doesn't come from, oh, I'm afraid to be judged by others. It's because you aren't confident in who you stand as a human being. Bam.

Bam. So you'll find that a lot of these fears aren't put there because they're all put there because of you and your thoughts. Absolutely. So you're not confident in who you are, right? A couple of ways.

There's a couple of ways that you can instantly become confident in who you are and step into it when you do your work, right? Number one, just think about a moment in your life where you've succeeded in something, right? Maybe you're a mother, right? And you've raised two beautiful kids, right? Or three or four.

However many kids you have, right? And you see, you have been successful in that area. So you instantly just got to think about that, that moment, okay? That cap, that hat that you wear at home of being a successful mother, right? Because let me tell you something.

The same components that's required to be a successful mother are going to be the same components that you put into your business, right? That's awesome. Components like faith, right? Components like perseverance, right? That's awesome.

Perseverance to the kids. Adversity. All these things, right? That mothers go, right? These are the same components that you need to succeed in business, okay?

So just think about maybe something that you're really good at, that you've been successful at, that you're 100% absolutely confident that when it comes to this area, you're the best at it, okay? The second one that you can do is going to require more time, right? Because a lot of confidence comes from being competent in a skill set, right? You see, for most of my life, I like confidence because I never had a particular skill set that I felt that I was really good at. I was not the best at sports, right?

I was not the best at people skills. I mean, I was not the best at a lot of things. But then I got introduced to business and I fell in love with it. I said, man, this is probably one of the things, one of the only things that I'm probably going to be really good at if I just learn it, if I take the time, if I take action. I really enjoy it.

I really believe that this is going to be it, right? And after a while, my wife can tell you, she started to see my confidence go up just as a human being, as a man, right? You remember that, right? I remember. Little by little because what happens is that you start becoming confident.

You start getting deals. You start getting sales. You start getting leads, right? You start operating your business from a successful point of view and other people start to praise you and a little confidence starts to build you up now because you're like, wow, you know, I'm actually making this happen, right? And it only happens from being competent in a skill set, right?

So you have to ask yourself which ways, you know, those are the two ways that you can go after it, right? And you know, the cool thing is that you can use the first example that I gave you about the mom, right? And you can use that to instantly develop confidence and take that confidence into your business, right? And as you're developing your skill sets on the internet as a business owner, right? Eventually, you won't need to think about that no more because you'll just think about how successful you have been in your business.

And because of that, you'll instantly have confidence. Absolutely, man. It's a track record. You need to start creating and that's the only way you're going to be able to look back and say, no, man, if I succeeded here, I can succeed anywhere. And so start creating a track record, man.

Start taking action right now. Stop feeding your fears time and just start. Going for it. Okay, go for it. Kill the fear man.

Be fearless. This is the power couple
