Dressing for success is a common misconception among a lot of people nowadays. Now don’t take what I’m saying the wrong way. I’m not encouraging you to look like a bum and expect money to come your way…

But what I am saying is that, clothes does not equal status, power, and money.

Let me explain to you why that is.

Take David Wood for example. He’s the CEO here at Empower Network. Now if you know anything about this guy, he couldn’t give less of a crap about dressing for success. Why? Because he grew up without making a lot of money and actually was poor for a good time in his life.

You see, when we judge people for how they dress, we’re already assuming that they’re not good enough to accomplish a task because they aren’t rich like everyone else running the show.

Now of course, this is a horrible way to run the economy of the world but…

That’s how it is. What are you going to do about it right?

Are you Dressing for Success or Dressing for Corporate Bullshit?

What people don’t realize about the modern world is that we don’t have to treat people like this anymore! Do you realize what you have here with the power of the Internet at hand?!

Most people who surf the Internet DO NOT care if people are dressing for success because MOST people on the Internet are here because they want to be entertained…

This new digital economy allows people like me

– to cuss

– be myself

– and dress how I want

And the funny thing is that because the Internet allows people to be themselves, we can sell products how they were meant to be sold WITHOUT dressing for success.

If you’re like me, you know that reinvesting your money into your clothes doesn’t always guarantee scoring a great job. Sometimes, you’ll just spend a shitload of money and next year you’ll be out of season.

Now there is nothing wrong with dressing nice – if that’s what you want. But the point I am trying to get across to you is that – nowadays, especially with the advancement of the Internet – it’s complete and utter bullshit that we have to act like something that we are NOT.

If you like dressing nice, there is NOTHING wrong with that.

But what I would like people to understand is that we shouldn’t be forced to dress to societies standards and blend in with everybody else.

Now call me an anarchist or whatever you’d like…

…but now, it’s like I finally understand where these teenagers are coming from; why they refuse to conform to society’s rules and become unique in their own way.

(Keep in mind I’m 23 so I’m no teenager)
