You’re either going to love me or hate me for what I’m about to say in this blog post. But nevertheless, it’s the truth. And the truth was made to set you free instead of aimlessly chasing your tail hoping that something will change.

We’re now living in the Golden Age of Technology. It’s actually been too long since we’ve entered this era and somehow the Internet isn’t clicking for the majority of people. We’re living in the most prosperous time in history… where business owners, artists, and bloggers can capitalize on their work without busting their ass for eight hours a day (like most jobs).

But for some reason, which I can’t quite put my finger on, we choose to do things the hard way instead of allowing technology to make things easier. With the click of a button, you have the ability to build an online portfolio, send it to dozens of potential clients and make enough money to support yourself and your ENTIRE family! So why are there still starving artists out there?! Why are people so aimlessly clueless about making money on the Internet and building an online presence?!

If you Ain’t Blogging, you Ain’t Living.

The days of having a physical portfolio are gone and unless you build your presence, don’t expect to have people rushing through the door to buy your artwork, either.

Unless you can find a way to monetize what you’re doing and turn it into a full time career, very few people are going to pay you for your time. For one, it’s not attractive asking people to spend their precious money on paintings or pictures that they can print out from Google Images. What’s attractive is being a leader and inspiring people with your artwork to do something better with their lives. What’s attractive is sending a message to the masses that needs to be heard and leading thousands into freedom through movements or causes.

Here’s a new Online Portfolio that pays you to Blog Daily. I think it’s more useful to spend your time blogging and marketing your artwork than hoping that somebody will save you and give you a ticket into the Limelight. The recognition will come after you’ve helped enough people.
