Can Xena come back?

It’s been many years since the last airing of the last episode (Friends in Need), but the fan base is still strong.

The Warrior Princess can come back, she’s come back before even from the dead.

The fans still want a movie

Even after after all those years since the last airing of the last episode “Friend in Need”, which a lot of fans have still not seen, or only once (me) and refuse to watch it again (me) because it’s just too painful for them, for us (for me).

Get dressed

Yes, the fans still want Lucy to climb back into her leather outfit and Renee to put on her green top or if she prefers her new leather bra. Pick up sword, chakram, staff and sais and fight the forces of evil.

Kick Butt

We want Xena to kick butt again and Gabrielle to fight with her bardic skills – and kick butt.

They have been such strong role models for a lot of young girls and older gals.

Will it happen?

Even though those gals still look really good and fit and are friends and show up at the Xena Conventions (usually in LA) – it’s not very likely they’ll do it. Even if the dispute about the rights is over and the movie company is ready, are Lucy and Renee up to it? Show that much skin at their age?

But that’s my opinion. I don’t mind if Lucy Lawless and Renee O’Connor prove me wrong.

Besides the script is ready, and what I’ve heard it’s been written by the lovely Katherine Fugate who has written some of the best episode. Well, I like the ones from Steven Sears, too

Someone else?

A few years ago I heard about a rumor the movie guys are waiting for Lucy and Renee to be too old so they could hire other actresses. Honestly, do we want to see other actresses pretending to be Xena and Gabrielle? Or see them in rocking chairs watching their off-spring saving the world?

I hear a sounding NOOOO!!! Don’t I?
