Slow Internet Connection-Breakthrough Opportunity

A slow Internet Connection is a breakthrough opportunity.
For the last three days, I have been attempting to listen to David Wood’s USTREAM Live broadcasts he says he put together on a whim. However, the live broadcasts keep stopping and starting and a certain point just stop altogether.
I suspect it is due to a slow Internet connection as I am on a relatively remote island in the Caribbean for few weeks.
Night before last, I was able to listen to a recorded version of a previous broadcast but for some reason, that recording kept stopping and starting as well.
I keep telling myself this an opportunity to be with the way life is.
I know, we cannot control our circumstances and to quit is quitting on myself. I’m not going to let a slow Internet connection do that to me.
I know we can only relate to circumstances in two ways.
Either choosing to do so powerfully;
or just Be A Wussy as David Wood would say.
I actually got present to looking for the opportunity with my slow Internet connection by listening to a comment Dave made in the video before it started. He reminded everyone listening at the beginning that he lives in the mountains of Costa Rica and his Internet connection often drops the bandwidth required to do the streaming. And very lightly he said, “I can be kicked off the Internet and in fact it is likely to happen at least once, just be patient I will be back in a minute.”
Perhaps it is because I have come to know David Wood over the course of a three month period that I know how he handles adversity or challenges. In fact, he doesn’t even view them as challenges.
He always more or less turns his back on any adversity; moves on and looks for, discovers or creates an opportunity.
He did it three times when the vendors he had retained to fulfill the payment system for the Empower Network failed to produce; that he ultimately decided to produce his own which in my estimation is an preferable system. It was easy to enroll; its easy to use and the fees are less than the others systems he had in place.
I decided to do a little research and found some excellent tips that Celine Roquew wrote a couple years ago entitled How to Deal With Slow Internet Connections When You Travel.
1. Tune up your laptop before you leave.
2. Make your Internet browser lean
3. Get rid of slow-loading add-ons.
4. Find a source of portable connectivity.
5. Know the rates you’ll be paying.
6. Divide your tasks into bandwidth-heavy and bandwidth-light.
7. Have backup plans
You can go to the article to obtain detail information on each suggestion listed. The one I found most helpful is #6, which is dividing my tasks into bandwidth-heavy and bandwidth-light tasks.
More simply put, the sites that I found are slow running, I am just start putting them off until I get a better connection. I also am finding the slow Internet connection clears up a little bit late at night when the number of people on the Internet is less.
In addition, I found with some of the audio recording, I could download them to my computer. The download is slow but I can do something else when that is occurring and when it is finished, I can go back and listen to the download with no interruption.
Being patient is probably the biggest solution I found which when I focus on it removes the stress and frustration of my slow Internet connection.

P.S. Even with my slow internet connection, I am learning so much from Empower Network in regard to internet marketing and living life powerfully. Just get into this program. It is extraordinary.
