I Have Been Wasting Time

Wasting time is the biggest hindrance in my business
Currently I am at my home in Nevis, West Indies. Since I have been here, almost two weeks now, I have been feeling I have been wasting time and not being productive in my business.
Time is our most precious and should be most valued commodity but we do not always treat it that way. I have been disappointed how much time I have been wasting time allowing non-revenue producing activities distract me.
I understand that active marketing activities are where I should spend most of my time. However, I have a habit of trying to learn everything under the sun related to Internet marketing rather than doing the few things I know that generate income.
Certainly, it is important to spend time reading, listening and watching stuff that may be presenting the best strategies for marketing my business, it should not distract from the things I know to do which are intended to generate income.
In the Empower Network where I have prioritized where I want to spend my time, we know to do three things blog daily, share with others and make money.
I have fallen behind on my blogging (this is only the second in two weeks) and marketing due to procrastination, trying to figure out and improve my own marketing funnel and just bouncing around the Internet.
I have also been driving my wife around getting her mostly to the gym where she can work out. She has become obsessed with that as much as I have with my business.
Of course I have been spending time on the beach and having a beer here and there but always worrying about getting back on the computer to work.
There is one thing where I am very clear I am not waiting time and that is spending time with my 2-½ year old daughter when she interrupts me at the computer or reading some educational or training material. I’m convinced that is not wasting time on my part. It may be waiting time on her part if I am not keeping her properly engaged in play, rest, social and educational activities. There lies the solution with her and therefore she does not necessarily have to take away from my productivity in business.
Here our Steps I am adopting today to be productive and keep from wasting time on my business.
Comment to add to them.
1. The most important is being present to whatever I am doing at any particular time whether that be in my business, attending to family matters, playing or interacting with friends or just lying on the beach.
2. That will be followed by my continuously and being ever present to my appreciation for every experience I am having at any particular time.
3. I will apply the Secret to Success
4. I will routinely follow the list of daily activities below in the order listed and stop wasting time.
a. Check my email
b. Respond to downline affiliates and consultants as appropriate
c. Respond to prospects email
d. Write a blog post
e. Market post and tweet relevant material on Twitter, 20 minutes
f. Market on Facebook 10 minute
g. Market on Linkedin 5 minutes
h. Spend no less than an 30 minutes in some sort of training or educational activity related to further developing my business.
Wasting time is no longer in my life. I am present to life and the people around me.
