How To Make A Blog Post With Empower Network

Most people do not know how to blog and the very thought of blogging scares them.
So here is a very simple way to make your blog post.
First, you will need something to blog about. If you are in other businesses, then you can blog about them. Blog about their products or services.
For instance, if you are passionate about cooking, then you could write about recipes but be specific. Don’t write about “Spaghetti”, write about “Spaghetti with garlic roasted shrimp”. See the difference?
One thing that is very important is that your post must be at least 350 words. That is not a lot of words by the way, it’s about 3 paragraphs. If you cannot think up the post, then you can take parts of other posts, do a slight rewrite by adding just a few comments and it becomes a new post. You can find many articles online by typing the specific title as above.
Your blog needs to attract interest. If you can’t think of anything, then your next step is to go to Google Trends at .
Here you will find the newest information on all trends.
Once you have found your topic, you then need to find an article by scrolling down the pages.
This is real Important: copy what you want to write about to “NotePad”. You need to rewrite things in text mode so it does not copy the html format of the page you took the info from.

Rewrite your post, including the heading. You DO NOT want it to be exact or spiders will cross match it to the original and will not index your post.
You blog post following the instructions below should only take you 30 minutes or less to complete once you get the hang of it. It may take an hour or so until you start to blog regularly.

Now, when you login to your blog, You can access your blog as seen below:
Login to your Blog and it will bring you to your Dashboard
Click on New Post
There are few things that are very important when making your blog posts. There is one special plugin that you must take advantage of. It’s called SEOPressor.
Below is a post example that I have made to show you exactly what you need to do to make sure your post gets all the possible exposure from the search engines.
As you can see, this post has a low score of 46.67%, it should be from 75% to 90% to get the search engine spiders to index it properly.
This is how you do that!
You will notice that SEOPressor tells you what you are missing, so to do this, look at the diagram below to see what changes need to be done.
IMPORTANT: You post should have your SEO keyword at a minimum of 5 times through your post.
Here is a list of what you must have to maximize your blog posting exposure:
Step 1. KEYWORDS
Minimum of 5-7 SEO Keywords
Step 2. H2 Tag
Highlight a sentence with your SEO Keyword in it and select H2 from the drop-down menu. In this example, I am using this blog post /uw2know/blog/just-chillin-and-making-money/
Your H2 Tag should be the first sentence of your Blog, so make sure your SEO Keyword is in it as seen below.
Here is what it looks like when you have Your H2 and H3 Tags in your post, they will look bold and in different font size
If you did it properly, your H2 Tag will look like this in your post
You can verify the code by clicking on your HTML Tab. It will look like this:
Step 3. H3 Tag
Highlight a sentence with your SEO Keyword in it and select H3 from the dropdown menu. You want to pick a key sentence or short paragraph about halfway through your post that contains your SEO Keyword as also seen above. You can verify the code by clicking on your HTML Tab. It will look like this:
Once you have done that, your H3 Tag will look like this in your post
NOTE: For steps 4, 5, 6 and 8, make sure that the bold, italic, underline and internal linking is not used on the H2 or H3 Tagged sentences. This will disable the H2 and H3 tags
Step 4. Bold an SEO Keyword.
It will look like this
You can verify the code by clicking on your HTML Tab. It will look like this:

Step 6. Underline an SEO Keyword.
Please follow Instructions below carefully.
Please Note: There is an error that happens when you click on ,
It will put the wrong html code in. What you have to do is is click on the HTML Tab , then go to where you made the under line of your keyword. you will find the html code looks like this: and end with this .
You will need to change it so it looks like this and ends with . This will then underline your keyword properly and put your SEO score higher.
Special Note: Make sure this is the last change you do otherwise it will revert back to the original code.
Step 7. rel=”nofollow”
Inserting the rel=”nofollow” to your outbound links. Outbound meaning any link that is not an Empower Network link such as
To add the rel=”nofollow” to your outbound links, you need to click on the HTML Tab of your post as seen below:
When you click on the HTML Tab, you will see all your post in html format and it will then look like this:
In the example below, it shows that the link does not have the rel=”nofollow”.
What you need to do, is insert the rel=”nofollow” after <a and before href as seen below
Step 8. Internal link to your other pages
What you need to do to put an internal link to your other pages is a few things:
1. link your picture to either your blog home page which would be /youruserID
2. Hyperlink a word or phrase. How do you do that?
Go to your post and select a word or phrase that is not your keyword. Then you want to find a blog post you made that relates to that keyword or phrase. If you don’t have one, just use your main blog link. Then you will click on the chain link icon as seen below:
So for example, I will use one of my other posts /uw2know/blog/using-youtube-to-market-your-blog-or-business/ as the sample internal link. Then just put a short title in. The reason for the title as when they mouse over, it will tell them what the post is about. Always check the “Open link in new window” as you don’t want your visitor to get lost on your site.
Step 9. Insert a Picture

To insert a picture, click on the icon next to “Upload/Insert as seen below:
If you insert a picture, make sure it has an ALT tag to your SEO Keyword like the following:
To set your picture for perfect insert size, click on the picture, 2 icons will appear, a small picture and an “O” with a slash through it. Click on the picture to edit.
You will then see a pop up window, click on “Advanced Settings”, then type “100%” in the Width and delete whatever is in the Height
Click Update and you’re done
Doing everything I showed you here, it will put your post in the upper 70′s to 90′s percentage and the Search Engine spiders will be more likely to index your post.
Also make sure that you put a tag in the tag box. It can be the same tag as your SEO Keyword
Step 10. Your keyword tags
Use Google Keyword Tool to find relevant keywords to your topic. Access the keyword tool at
Type in your keywords for your blog post as seen below.
Then select from the list approx. 10-15 keywords. and add them to your tags.
Check the boxes of the keywords you want to select and then Click the download button as shown above to copy. Select “My Keyword Ideas” and save. This will then save it to CSV for Excel.
When it opens, copy to notepad.
Then add a “,” after each keyword phrase.
Highlight and Copy the keywords and paste them into the Tags field and click “Add”
Final Step. Always end your posts with “Call To Action”
Call To Action is where you want to sell something, you always want to make money. This call to action can be a product or service you just blogged about or it could be a business venture such as your Empower Network business.

Here is what I personally use at the end of all my blog posts
You can modify it by changing the few colored areas in the blog post.
The bold “Tweet it, Google+ it and Facebook it can be hyperlinked to your sites if you choose to.
The “uw2know” should be replaced with your EN username and the “multiple income streams” is always the keyword of your post.
This following text should be copied under the “TEXT” tab of your blog.
