More Stuff is Not More Success (Travel Diary Day 4)

Hi Friends…
I have two things to share with you today…
1) Fun vacation stuff I did today and if you’re ever in the area, you gotta get there… Sponge Docks and Fred Howard Park
2) A little rant about success, focus and beliefs
Vacation Update: Today I was in Tarpon Springs, Florida. If you do a Google search, you’ll find the top 12 things to do in Tarpon Springs… I hit 3 of them.
SPONGE DOCKS
The most popular was a place called the Sponge Docks. The Sponge Industry helped build a Greek Community that is now famous not only for the worlds finest sponges, but for some of the finest Greek Restaurants, Markets, and Bakeries in the Country.
What will find in Tarpon Springs? The Sponge Docks, Greek Restaurants, Bakeries, Attractions, Natural Sponges, Sponge Diving, Tours, Sightseeing Cruises, Unique Greek and Florida Souvenirs, lots of Shopping, Sightseeing and Live Entertainment (Bouzoukia).
I had a Greek salad for lunch at “Mama’s Greek Cuisine“.
You can’t help but stop by Hellas Bakery and finding the selection overwhelming. It was hard to decide what to indulge in!
I ended up taking home a piece of baklava and baklava cheesecake to share with the family.
The Greek pastries I had to decide against included Baklava, Spanakopita, Tiropita, Diples, Flogeres, Melomakarona, Kourabiedes, Katiffi, Koulouri, Tsoureki and much more. All of their pastries are baked fresh daily just down the road.
FRED HOWARD PARK
It was a nice surprise to drive through this beautiful park to come out the other end…and find ocean… I had no idea what to expect. When the friends we were with were adamant about swinging by Fred Howard Park… truthfully, I’m wondering what the big deal is that we’d have to take vacation time to visit a park.
Well, Fred Howard Park is not just a park! Check out these pictures.
It’s an island you drive to via a causeway. There were dolphins playing just offshore and some kind of fish that appeared to just love jumping up out of the water. Really cool to watch.
There was plenty of white beach sand to sunbathe and seemed it had little nooks and cranny spots dotted throughout the little island where you could find a quiet spot to picnic, read, listen to your ipod, take in the beauty and sounds of the ocean or even catch a nap.
You can rent 2 chairs and an umbrella and/or a kayak and the bathrooms were clean. Really a cool little spot on earth.

Lifestyle Business Tip – Empower Network Style
I’ve been thinking about sharing this since the Austin event and I wasn’t going to say anything… but ….one of my business partners brought up the subject so I thought I’d go ahead and embrace the subject.
Before I do however, let me say this:
First, we are each solo entrepreneurs in our home based businesses. That’s the most awesome thing ever. No boss… total freedom… love it… respect it… protect it.
Second, regardless of the systems, tools, resources, programs, advertising methods, etc that my business partner solo entrepreneurs use to build their respective businesses, I support them. I’m their biggest cheerleader!
Third, it is not my place to choose what and how other people run their businesses because the truth is… it all works. The strategies to market all work for some people. Not every method works for everyone.. but they all work. So ‘yeah!’ for that!
Okay… so the subject I’m talking about is….
Third Party Middle Man Systems
… whether the grass is greener using another system to market Empower Network rather than just using what Empower Network offers.
The answer is NO.
It’s not greener, but it works. NOT using another system works also. It ALL WORKS.
I have business partners JUST using Empower Network resources.
I have business partners using middle man systems.
The results are the SAME. Therefore….
I’m about keeping the message simple.
Get all in.
Grab your link.
Market it.
What Makes Empower Network Attractive?
Empower Network has drawn 80,000 affiliates to it’s program in the last 15 months because of it’s simple 3 step program and 8 core commitments. It’s FREED them from having to use other systems, buying more tools and programs and getting majorly overwhelmed with what REALLY works. People are tired of it.
The Empower Network 3 step system is:
Step 1: Blog Daily
Step 2: Tell Others (market)
Step 3: Make Money
The motto of Empower Network is this:

MEANING…..

And the people you bring into Empower Network (or any business for that matter) will look at you and believe they have to do the same thing in order to be successful. If you’re setting up systems, holding trainings every day, calling people, well… guess what? THEY think THEY have to do that too.
And with Empower Network… the message is DON’T DO THAT. You don’t have to. You can have wild success without that…. so keep it simple and go live the life of your dreams!
Many problems I’ve seen in the past… actually, up until Empower Network came along, was this…
People are so overwhelmed with everything they gotta do, that they do nothing.
They are overwhelmed for these reasons:
a) Too many tools and resources to choose from to build their business.
b) They see people getting results from various marketing strategies and can’t figure out which one to do.
c) Spend too much time in the classroom and not enough time in real life application. In other words… they buy MORE stuff… MORE tools… MORE education… MORE resources… MORE systems…
… and they don’t implement anything. Or very little and then when it doesn’t work how they imagined or they don’t get immediate results, they quit.
d) They are following too many leaders and are trying to be like each of them, rather than finding their own identity and strategies.
My Plan of Action is the Empower Network Way
The plan of action I’ve adopted and loved is the exact plan of action that Empower Network teaches.
Empower Network gives you everything you need to succeed.

- Upsell videos
- Weekly training for members and guests
- An authority blog
- personal development audios
- inspirational audios
- technical ‘how to’ to market
- leadership education
- team building education
- affiliate program allowing you to earn 100% commissions
- live events 4 + times a year
- ‘come as you are and who you are’ platform
- treats their leaders like royalty
- treats all members with integrity, authenticity, freedom to be themselves
However, even so… there are some that want to create MORE systems outside of Empower Network. And that’s great for them! Power to them! Again, I’m a cheerleader for the industry, for entrepreneurs, and for all inside of Empower Network!
Having said that…
Success is NOT in yet another third party system…. it’s in the application of the knowledge you already have through Empower Network.
It’s not in MORE stuff.
It’s not in MORE systems and programs.
It’s not the magic bullet.
It’s not the easy button.
Do they work? Absolutely!
But it’s just a different approach to lead with.
I lead with Empower Network straight away.
And as you can see…it works.
As an income disclaimer… these are my results and your results will be based on your effort. Empower Network makes no guarantees as to income.
But back to middle man (third party) systems…
Others use these kinds of systems that lead with other products outside of Empower Network and then offer EN after the buyers buy the first thing or two… whatever that may be. And they work also.
MY POINT:
I never want my team and business partner newbies to think they must have something else to succeed with Empower Network. When they join, I tell them to follow the blueprint… follow the step by step game plan and stay focused. If I sent them to another third party system, what I’m saying… even without saying it… is that they need more to REALLY succeed in EN… and that’s not true.
What I want to make clear to everyone reading this blog.. is this:
You don’t need another system to market Empower Network with. If you will take that EN has, apply the education, you’ll get results.
If you choose to do it because you’re attracted to THAT way of marketing.. then by all means.
But you have everything you need within Empower Network.
Because think about this: You are STILL sending traffic to a CAPTURE PAGE regardless of what you do. You STILL need to learn to market. You are STILL spending the same time, effort and marketing dollars.
A middle man system is just…. a middle man system…and you STILL need to send traffic to that. It doesn’t mean your results will be different. It’s just ONE way to market.
Whether you use a middle man system to sandwich between your advertisement and Empower Network or you lead with Empower straight away, if you’ll focus and be committed to learning and implementing… and never giving up..,. you’ll succeed no matter what.
I’m cheering for you 100%!
I just choose to keep it simple…
