Don’t Effing Quit!!!
As Murphy’s Law states “Anything that can go wrong will go wrong.”. That’s just how life is. So don’t even make up reasons, blame others and get surprised when things eventually go wrong in life. We have to accept it and be grown adults, move past it, learn, grow and become a newer person from those hardships we’ve gone through. There’s no time to bitch about it and complain about anything.
Any type of work we’re doing now, as long as it’s proven to bring results, don’t quit! Don’t even complain about it. Those guys in the picture would cry in happiness if they’re blessed with the resources we’re working with. Instead, be contented and know that your hard work will pay off… as long as you don’t quit. The game only ends when you give up before the ring bells.
Now success requires patience, not only hard work. Everything we do will one day build up and become the reason for our success. However, doing 1 thing today that will one day reap into success and not doing it the next day and the next day is pure stupidity. Success is doing one small thing a day consistently till you hit the gold medal. Success also requires consistency and there’s no way in hell you can ignore the small things. You stack those small things up, they become the big things that matter.
Anyways, I’d like to share something that really inspired me today. It’s a poem called “Don’t Quit”.
Check it out below!
Don’t Effing Quit!!!
Here are the lines if you’d like to read it:
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you’re trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don’t you quit.Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don’t give up though the pace seems slow–
You may succeed with another blow.Often the goal is nearer than,
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up,
When he might have captured the victor’s cup,
And he learned too late when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.Success is failure turned inside out–
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems so far,
So stick to the fight when you’re hardest hit–
It’s when things seem worst that you must not quit.– Author unknown
