A Compliment A Day Can Change Someone’s Day

A compliment is powerful. All of us need it. Sometimes we get too much of it but it’s no problem. I can say the more the merrier works here. Compliments can definitely boost someone’s mood and self-confidence.

However for some people, especially those going through hard times, a simple compliment with a smile can alter and change their day in an instant. You can see the transition happen if you really observe closely. You can see a serious or sad looking face turn completely to the opposite and finally, you get to see some teeth because that person is smiling.

Whether you get a lot of compliments or not, getting one always is flattering and makes you feel good about yourself. That’s something we need every now and then. It’s something that we ourselves cannot get done as we need someone else to do it for us. However, it’s definitely gotta be a surprise. If we tell or ask someone to compliment us, that isn’t really a compliment. I mean the whole essence and feeling of randomly receiving a compliment either from someone we know or a complete stranger is all gone if we’re not taken by surprise.

So let’s make this post a beginning to a better tomorrow. Let’s make sure to it that every single day, instead of insulting or bashing people which is super negative energy and the type of people who repel from the society because no one wants a nagger friend, let’s live each day and don’t be shy. Give out compliments to people especially to those who deserve them. Give out compliments to your friends, mom, dad, brother, sister, family members or even complete strangers. If you like someone’s car or shoes, tell them you love them. Then you can see a whole new person come out. You never even know, this could be a great way for you to make new friends.
