1st Samuel 28:20 thru 2nd Samuel 12:10

Notes:

Saul commits a BIG “no-no”. He consulted a medium (psychic) when he could no longer hear the voice of Yahweh (God). 


So…….you can only imagine the horror on his face when Yahweh actually sent Samuel from the grave to speak with Saul. Everything for Saul from this point swiftly went down the drain…even to his death and his sons (including Jonathan….the one who loved King David as a brother) and his armor bearer.


SIDE NOTE: Guys, if you have ever consulted a psychic…..it doesn’t matter what it was for….YOU MUST REPENT….otherwise you run the huge risk of your hearing being perverted by a familiar spirit. END NOTE.


*Although Saul continually tried to kill David, David never raised his hand against Adonai’s anointed. David killed the person who killed Saul and his sons and told that man that he should have been afraid to lift his hand against Adonai’s anointed.


*David is crowned as king of Israel at age 30 and he reigned for 40 years. Remember he was anointed (by Yahweh) to be king many years before he actually stepped into the actual role of king.


SIDE NOTE: When we are anointed by Yahweh for a thing, we don’t necessarily start walking in that role right away, a season of training must begin. How long YOU are trained is different for everyone. END NOTE.

 SPECIAL NOTE: Take great care never to raise a hand against Yahweh’s anointed. You risk life and limb when you do. Yahweh specifically tells us “touch not my anointed, do my prophets no harm”.


If they get off track….Yahweh will steer their hearts back on course.


We are admonished to pray for them.
