Super Secret, Mind Blowing, Twitter to Facebook Networking Strategies

There is a difference in getting traffic to your blog versus marketing your blog. Just like there is a big difference chasing people to check out your business versus people finding you and coming to you about your business.

I know, maybe the sound of the word Twitter freaks you out, or the prospect of networking on Facebook makes no sense since most people use it to share about their family and their kiddos pictures.

Wait until you learn these super simple strategies for how to market your blog and your biz.

I write this for those that have home businesses or online businesses of any sorts and those that have small businesses or brick and mortar businesses too. These strategies will work if you are consistent, genuine and sincere and take the time to connect and CREATE RELATIONSHIPS with others — everyday!

Connecting and Relationship Building on Twitter

This platform of social media is pretty foreign to most, but even if you do use it regularly, you are gonna have your socks knocked off once you learn this!

OK, say my target market is moms who blog — could be stay at home moms or work from home moms; also known as mommy bloggers.

1. Go to Google and search for mommy bloggers, perhaps there is a page that will feature a plethora of mommy bloggers. Go down the list and go to their blogs and check it out, read a few posts. Find something you like and connect with.

2. Go over to Twitter and tell them you found their blog, love their post about (specified topic) and you are a new follower!

3. They will likely follow you back = new Twitter follower for you.

4. Go over to their Facebook page (there is usually a link on their blog), and Like their Fan page then send them a personal Facebook message from their page and tell them you found their blog, followed on Twitter and looking to connect on Facebook. Tell them to friend you so you can stay connected and get to know each other = new FB friend for you, now they see your frequent posts and updates.

==>> Result: you have more twitter followers, you are following people in your niche, you are seeing their frequent Facebook posts and you have a new FB friend and NOW you can start having a conversation and comment and Like their posts and start to build that relationship and get to know about them. BAM!!!

Connecting and Relationship Building on Facebook:

# daily: 10-20Most people that use Facebook use it to share their kiddos pictures and connect with strictly family and friends. There is a WHOLE other world of Facebook users. These are business builders and people that want to promote their business. Then there are those that know THE SECRET to relationship building using social media. Ready to learn???

Facebook Groups
If you go up to the search bar you can search for different Facebook groups. Some are closed and private, others are open.

Say your niche is home businesses, look for ‘work from home’ or ‘home business’ and then ask to Join the group.

Once in, go into the members and look at people and their profiles. Look for positive people. Look for people who post regularly and Like and comment on their posts. Send them a personal message and tell them what you Liked their post about (specific topic) and ask them to send you a friend request to stay connected. This method is a great way of increasing your Facebook friends and Fan Page fans.
Note: If you personally send too many friend requests then Facebook could put you on probation (I know!! WHO KNEW!!!).

Attraction Marketing
Attraction Marketing is a real term. It means that you market and share valuable content that people can gain from and therefore you attract them to you as though you are a magnet attracting the types of people you are looking for and who are looking for you. Simply posting your company link is NOT providing value. To practice attraction marketing, you need to be posting a positive inspiring quotes or images on your Facebook and Twitter accounts and into groups daily (2-3 times per day)!

Inspire others and lift them up!

Give Away Something of Value
For instance, in one of the teams I work with, they have created a 49 page marketing manual — literally everything you could want to know for marketing online, growing a business, free marketing strategies, etc…. Just some ideas there that can help you start your brain juices flowing.

Blog
When you have a blog you have now positioned yourself far ahead of others in your same niche. You have a platform to talk about you, your business, your life, and let people get to know you — you get to provide solutions for people. Because you have a blog, you are able to share your blog posts into these social media arena’s and let people get to know you.

Remember what I said earlier….”There is a difference in getting traffic to your blog versus marketing your blog.”

Getting traffic to a blog is an entirely different beast and another blog post or 2.
