Those Who Ignore Mindset Training Always Fail

There’s a positive correlation between people who complain about how motivational and mindset training does very little to help them and people who complain a lot about how they aren’t making sales!
And every once in a great while, I also come across people who are resentful that Vick’s system did not work for them.
It’s simple.
The system works.
If those people would only analyze what they are doing that is causing them to fail and be completely open to changing how they conduct themselves when they are working, would they be able to learn what they need to do to get good results.
Personally, I try to stay as far away as I can from these people. You’ve heard of the saying “garbage in, garbage out” right? I mean really. Do successful people surround themselves with successful people or do they hang out with losers?
And even now, there is sure to be someone out there who is reading this and saying “oh what a bunch of malarky (malarky is a word that essentially means BS).” Well, these are the kinds of people who also discount psychology as a worthwhile discipline.
I have most certainly had those days where I felt my business was slipping away…that no one would join me because I was new and had nothing to offer….because my solo ads weren’t performing how I had intended….and because not enough people were finding my blog. When those fears of doubt began to hit me, I buried myself in work. I didn’t dwell on my fears. I kept myself as busy as I possibly could and tried to distract myself. And in the end it turns out that mind really does exercise dominant power over matter.
However, having said all of this, as much time as anyone could spend on conditioning their minds for success, there must also be adequate time spent on the mechanics of what gets a person to success. And boy is there no shortage of people who are in need of help in this department! I say this because I want you to know, I’m not the kind of person who is going to answer your technical questions with a bunch of fluff and circular logic. When a person is already filled with desire and determination, they really should spend more time on sharpening their Internet marketing skills!
What initially gave me the idea for this post though, is because I realized just how important it is for everyone to understand what it is that they need the most, and then hit that need until it is properly quenched.
Once I started getting those feelings of hopelessness, that’s when I decided to feed my mind with those inspirational and motivational videos. And what I love about the Big Idea Mastermind system is that there are plenty of these types of videos, videos by Les Brown, Brian Tracy, John Eliot, Ed Foreman, Jack Canfield, Robert Stephenson, Michael Wickett, Bob Proctor, and Niurka. These videos will help bring you back into focus if you feel your will is starting to break.
Also, during those times of questioning, I also had to ask myself “is the reason I’m feeling depressed because of my own unwillingness to bend and try something new?” Oftentimes I did indeed find that to be the source of the problem. And once you have the source, you can conquer it with logic. In other words, I identified the cause of my problem and thus could present a proper solution. In this case, the solution would be to force myself into an uncomfortable situation. One where I had no assurance or even a clear idea of what the outcome would be.
For instance, I initially had no intentions of creating my own Big Idea Mastermind funnel – mostly because I had intended to do as little work as I possibly could and rely on Vick to sell BIM for me. Well to a certain extent, the system is automated. However, it was not generating the results that I wanted to see within the timetable that I had set for myself. This caused me to become unbearably frustrated for close to three days. However, applying my method from the above paragraph, I eventually realized that I needed to let go of my previous expectations, throw myself into the fray, and begin plugging away at a solution to my problem. Once the solution was in place, my spirits immediately returned to baseline, which is typically a swirl of staunch optimism and a stubborn iron will for success.
This is a post about checking-in with yourself frequently and cutting right to the heart of one’s obstacles – whether they be technically in nature or psychological in nature. It’s also about understanding a little about troubleshooting your own faults, limitations, and your fears so that you can be the best person you can be inside and out.
If you take anything at all away from this post, it should be your ability to recognize when something is going wrong in your business and understand the importance of being able to analyze the source of the problem…so you can attack it like the plague it really is, instead of letting it fester to the point where it eventually brings your business grinding to a halt.
Even if you are not a member of Big Idea Mastermind, the above information can be used to assist in bringing you back to baseline. I just hope your baseline is filled with natural optimism because if it’s not, you probably don’t live a very happy life.
And when all is said and done, only happy people can hope to find true fulfillment!
