We all start from zero!
No one came out of the womb, built with greatness in them.
If you know someone like that…
…besides Superman, then please I’d love to meet them. All too often I get people who will tell me this…
Well if I had as much experience as you, I would probably be doing just as well…
Or…
If I got in when there was no competition, I would be making as much money as those guys too.
HA!
We all start from zero. My first time doing anything was probably the same as your first time as well and it’s definitely not as good as how you perform your tasks now, right?
Here’s what happened to me I had to laugh at! You’ll love this.
So I did my first webinar last night.
Or at least I did my first webinar that someone attended last night. And I did a great job. Although I was a bit nervous, I was absolutely confident in what I was saying. I knew that my material was great because I had been studying it for so long.
So when the webinar ended, it dawned on me…
…did I turn my screen on so he could see all my doodling?
…did I turn my screen on so he could see all the notes I wrote?
NOPE!
So we all start from zero.
Now that I know exactly what I did wrong, I will correct it and do another webinar. I’m not upset or going to cry about it because I thought it was AWESOME! The great news is that I captivated my audience EVEN WITHOUT my screen.
That means that my next webinar will be even better because people will SEE what I’m talking about.
We all start from zero.
Do not let the climb deter you.
In the end, it’s always better from the mountaintop. And we all have to climb it. We all have to get up there, and the best part is that there is room for everyone.
So if you’re thinking about starting something new, just do it.
Regret that you DID it instead of regretting that you didn’t do it.
In the end, we really do all start from zero.
