Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to All!

I have a nice comfy day planned at home with my husband and daughter. We are really just taking this time to rest and enjoy each other. I love my family and even though it has been a rough road to travel these last couple of years, I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.  I have a greater level of appreciation for the little  things and the people in my life.

I am super excited about what the future may hold I really believe that 2013 is our year for Empowerment. That’s why I am so glad to have found Empower Network. It is truly helping me to leverage my time and money to live life by my design. Something I hoped for last year, but was unsure if I would be able to achieve it.

Merry Christmas 2011

This time last year I had just came home from the hospital after giving birth to my baby girl. She is now one years old and ALL OVER THE PLACE!  I woudn’t change it for anything in the world! Especially after losing a child, I appreciate her more and more each day. Each cry, each dirty diaper, each milestone makes me more thankful for the ability to experience the joys and daily activities associated with being a mom. She was my Christmas present sent from God and my husband, and I am truly truly grateful.

Merry Christmas  2013

In 2013, I plan to do things a little bit different. I want every day to feel like Christmas for my husband and daughter. Not just by giving gifts every day. I will definitely do that occasionally, but I want to be sure that I am giving them love each and every day intentionally. Even though I have been primarily a stay at home wife and mother for the last couple of years, there have been times where I have found myself still too busy to give my family the care and attention they deserve.  In 2013 this will be my top priority.  I’m even considering leaving the Christmas tree up throughout the year as a reminder. Or maybe not. That may not be such a great idea. I don’t want my daughter knocking it down all year long. Yikes!

So Christmas for me will last for a whole year, instead of a day. Why? because I am empowered, and you can be too by clicking here.

I’m thankful for Christ. I’m thankful for Love, I’m thankful for Joy. I’m thankful for peace. I’m thankful for family, and I’m thankful for you.  Merry Christmas!

Live, Love, Dance, Pray…Be Thankful Each and Every Day!
