Margarita Slavkova

Happiness needs two things at once, according to the framework opening this blog: being content now and holding a vision of what comes next. Margarita Slavkova maps the four outcomes that follow from getting that balance wrong, and the negative spiral she describes first is the one most people recognise.

Her sharpest post argues that learning technical skills without changing how you see yourself achieves nothing. She tells you to start thinking, speaking and moving as the person you intend to become, and she means it as an instruction rather than as a mood.

Ego gets asked about rather than condemned, and she reflects on a well known book about presence without simply summarising it. There is a short post arguing that you manufacture your own stress, which is easier to accept after the others.

The marketing posts are current in outlook, on advertising through a social platform and on where online video was heading.

Read the paradox of intention piece first. The rest assumes you understood it.
