The Vultures are circling after the death of Zeek Rewards

vultures

I had no plans to write about Zeek Rewards this week.

Everyone and their brother is hopping on the news about Zeek being shut down this week and declared a Ponzi Scheme.

I am not going to get into the specifics of all that happened.

There are countless numbers of articles, news posts, and videos circulating the web right now that are more detailed about what happened and why.

My beef is with the countless number of vultures that are feasting on this news.

People coming out of the woodwork to gloat at the undoing of a company that provided income to thousand of individuals.

The “I told you so” group that are having a great time with this news.

I see these people as vultures circling a freshly killed animal.

This makes me sick.

The entire events that have transpired in the past 72 hours has been sad to me.

Not just the loss of Zeek Rewards.

Full disclosure – I was a Zeek Rewards affiliate.

I had a downline, even though it was a relatively small one.

We are all big boys and girls.   I made an adult business decision and knew that Zeek would be a risk.

The business model had its red flags.

But to me, it was worth a small investment and to see what happened.

My sole income was not dependent on Zeek Rewards.

But others were not so lucky.

The Vultures should remember lives were effected

My heart goes out to those that had a lot more at stake with Zeek Rewards than I did.

My heart goes out to my sponsor in Zeek who had several thousand dollars invested in the company and was looking for Zeek to be a form of retirement.

I feel for his sponsor, who’s only form of income was from Zeek Rewards and had over 2,000 people in his downline.

Think of the calls that he has had to make and receive in the last few days.

I have heard countless number of testimonies in the past couple days of how much Zeek Rewards meant to people.

People that had their lives changed for the better.   People like you and me that were experiencing financial success for the first time.

We should be above eating our own like vultures

This is not a time for celebration, folks.

This is a sad day.   We as network marketers should rally together and lift our brothers and sisters up during this sad time.   Not circle them like vultures.

There should not be a celebration in the death of Zeek Rewards.   This is not a good thing for any network marketer.

This is a black eye to our industry and makes our jobs that much harder.

The things I have seen online the past few days have been pretty sickening.

Folks are using the fear of confused Zeek affiliates to recruit them.

The body of Zeek Rewards isn’t even cold yet and the Vultures are already trying to capitalize on this opportunity.

We as marketers can handle our business anyway we want.

That is what makes this industry great.

I think we should offer compassion and not opportunity right now.

Fear should not be used to recruit.

I will not use this as a way to bring people into my organization.

It simply is not the way I want to operate my business.

We are free to make our own decisions.   That is why we do what we do.

But think long and hard about what your agenda is.   Is it to help someone or is it to help yourself.

Let’s not be a vulture, but a lifeline for these people.
