What does Twitter, Sadness, Tony Rush and The Blogging Badass Have in Common?

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Tony Rush and The Blogging Badass are apparently Sad

In a recent study, a group out of Vermont, has determined where the happiest and saddest places in the United States are to live.

The group examined over 10 million tweets from all over the country and based on the data came up with these findings.

The study used certain keywords in the tweets analyzed to determine if the person sending the tweet was happy or sad.

The results were a bit surprising to me….

….and I bet they would be surprising to my friend Tony Rush.

They also found that the Bible belt stretching across the American south and into Texas was less happy than the west or New England.

What may hit home the most for Tony Rush and the Blogging Badass is the fact that the places we live are on the list as being in the top saddest places.

The state of Georgia, where I live, is in the top 5 saddest states.

And in the top saddest cities, where Tony Rush lives, is Dothan Alabama.

This article can be seen here.

Now let me ask you – Do we look sad?

Tony Rush and the Blogging Badass are anything but sad

Apparently, Tony’s tweets and my tweets, were not analyzed.

We met up in Austin recently for the Release Your Inner Badass’ Empower Network event, and you can tell by our interview, we were having fun.

The reason is we are both making money with Empower Network.

Now Tony makes a little more than me.

But I am gaining on him.

And Tony Rush and the Blogging Badass are both happy.

We buck the trend in this study.

When you are pursuing your dreams, it brings happiness into your life.

We were taught to dream big here at Empower Network.

Tony Rush and the Blogging Badass are big time dreamers.

And we are accomplishing those dreams.

Let me share with you why Tony Rush and the Blogging Badass don’t belong in that silly study

Happiness or sadness is a choice.

You can decide to be happy.

You can decide to pursue your dreams.

You can decide to make your life extraordinary.

WE did:

Tony Rush and the Blogging Badass did using this system.

That is why we have huge smiles on our faces.

We figured it out.

We did not want to work to build someone else’s dream.

We wanted to build our own.

And it all starts with making a decision.

When you make a decision and take massive action dreams happen.

How to find your happiness by following the Tony Rush and the Blogging Badass model

Happiness is not hard to find.

It is right in front of you.

Most people need a couple of things to create the lifestyle of their dreams.

Here they are in no particular order:

  1. A clearly defined WHY – What/who are you working for? (Your motivation)
  2. A clearly defined INTENTION – What do you want to accomplish? (if your Why is your motivation, your Intention is the final goal or destination).
  3. The TOOLS and THE TEAM to help get you there.

That is really it.

The rest is up to you.

It comes down to what are you willing to do to get number 2?

And how strong is your number 1 to get you there?

The tools and team are proven.

What do you bring to the table?

We have everything you need right here, if you are willing to take it.
