A phone call comes in the evening: a brother has had a heart attack half an hour ago, and the person on the other end cannot get the words out. The post built around that call asks whether a miracle happens because somebody believed, or whether belief is a separate thing entirely, and it does not settle the question comfortably.
This is a blog written from a poor part of southeast Ohio, and it says so. One post describes a couple there reaching the front page of a search engine, presented as evidence rather than as a boast.
The recurring subjects are fear, worry, adversity and attitude, handled by somebody who has had all four rather than read about them. The post on critical thinking is the outlier and the sharpest, because it asks you to check your own reasoning instead of adopting theirs.
Money gets a straight question: will it fix your problems, and what would fixing them actually look like.
Start with the miracle post. It sets the terms for everything else.
