How to Blog Daily

Most people who join our group do not know how to blog daily. So, I thought I would give you a few secrets to what a blogger’s mindset is all about. Most writers become good at their trade with much effort and struggling. Writing does not always come easily to the masses. But a blog is much easier to do since you only need to write about a 500 word blog for it to be relevant and show up on the front page of Google.
What do I Blog About?
Most people like to write about what they love. If you have a passion about something or have special knowledge then that would your first choice for a blog. If you have a passion about exercise, or motorcycles, or sports, or music, or gardening, or cooking, or karate, or anything else, these are prime targets for a blog. Other people, like me, have a variety of topics that they write about. Much of what I write is about marketing, business tips or just plain old ordinary stuff. I usually find something that inspires me or I write about topics that are suggested to me from my mentoring group.
But I don’t have the skills to write a good blog
Nonsense! One thing that I have discovered about blogging (I used to think that I just could not do it either) is that it’s like anything else in life. The more you do it, the better you get at it. This is so true with blogging. When I look at some of my beginning blogs, I just have to laugh! As I am trained with the different skills that our training program offers, I have fine tuned my blogs and my writing skills have improved. I cannot say that I have used perfect English and sentence structure but that is for the English majors to snicker about as they read my posts. (Have a good laugh teachers; I am making lots of money). Better yet, join me and make some of that money for yourself and retire!
Here’s What You Need to Get Going Blogging
Choose your topic for your blog. This could be about anything. A popular movie, a news event, your favorite hobby, your pets or kids, a house repair project, a wonderful vacation spot, your pet peeve, annoying people…you get the picture.
Write a compelling beginning paragraph when blogging. Write something that will grab the reader’s attention. This stuff shows up in the darnedest places and you never know whose attention you will reach. Once you pull your reader into the story or explanation, give them some action and suspense to keep them reading. Make it about them or something that they can relate to. When Jesus told stories, He told stories to the crowds in parables. In this way the listener could relate and understand the message that He was trying to convey.
