Why We Want You To Be Rich By Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki

The name Robert Kiyosaki and the phrase ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ have been quite prevalent in my life and education over the past few years and I had come to think of them as part of my mastermind group, a person and way of thinking I could trust.  Donald Trump, however, has been a name and a face I don’t really know but associate with great wealth and ‘You’re fired!’. When I came face to face with these two New York Times best selling authors and money giants in the form of their book ‘Why We Want You To Be Rich’ in the dollar store the other day, I was intrigued as to why these very different individuals had decided to write a book together. The other question that came immediately to mind was, “why is this book in the dollar store????”
Fast forward 1 week……I have just read the last page of this very well thought out and written account of why Donald and Robert want us to be rich and I am suitably impressed and have a new respect for both men topped with a profound gratitude for the information they have shared.
Even if you had never heard of either of these men or knew nothing about money and financial education, the information in this book has been written in such a way that anyone can understand the lessons and the messages Robert and Donald are daring you take on board.
Basically, it is a book that encourages you to invest in your biggest asset…..YOU! To get rich and stay rich you need to have financial education and ‘Why We Want You To Be Rich’ points you in the right direction. Donald and Robert share their experiences, good and bad, with us in an effort to impress upon us how important it is for everyone to learn about the one thing we all have in common…the use of money. What is interesting is that you get two perspectives on some very valid subjects, the story version from Robert and the straight from the hip version from Donald.
‘Why We Want You To Be Rich’ sets you up nicely with enough information to whet your appetite for more. More on investing, more on good money management, more on real estate, more on continually beefing up your knowledge in all areas money so that you can become richer and richer and richer….even if you were not rich to begin with!
What I liked the most about ‘Why We Want You To Be Rich’ was the special attention both men gave to explaining ‘why’ they do what they do and why they want so much for us, the everyday person, to be rich and how we can, if we really want to, achieve that. Here are two titans of business more than willing to be completely frank with anyone who cares to listen about how they became what they are today.
Being successful is a journey not a destination and there are many facets of that journey that must be considered and dealt with, one way or another. The smoothness of the journey really depends on how prepared you are, ‘Why We Want You To Be Rich’ is a great start.

One last thing, my second question: ‘Why was this book in the dollar store?’ Maybe this particular store got a good deal somewhere, I don’t know but in my opinion finding this book in the dollar store says to me that there are way too many people out there totally unaware of what a gem ‘Why We Want You To Be Rich’ is but when you get a golden ticket handed to you, you take it, right?
