Success is a level of social status, achievement of an objective/goal, the opposite of failure.
Most of us want to have success at some point in our lives, sooner rather than later too, but the sad fact is that although we wish to be successful, few ever reach that goal.
The Secrets To Success
Why Not? Several reasons, the most common being that they sabotage themselves before their venture is off the ground or just before they are about to hit the jackpot! And most are completely unaware of what they are doing! Why would they do that? Conditioning…..
There are several factors that come into play here, all of which are learned over the period of your life, however long you have been on this planet and all of which affect the level of your success in whatever you do in life.
- Learned habits and behaviours from your parents
- Learned habits and behaviours from significant others in your life, i.e. siblings, neighbours, school friends, teachers, parents friends and relatives
- Learned habits and behaviours from external influences, i.e. television, movies, radio, books
- Positive or negative influences from anywhere
You are the result of your environment and the influences therein, good or bad. If you have experienced a money poor, negative, self esteem dampening, confidence crushing existence growing up then chances are pretty slim that you will have success at school or sports or that you have a great paying job with lots of possibilities for your future or that you have fulfilling relationships. These are some of the results of a negative environment.
If you have been bought up in a loving, uplifting, money rich, positive environment then chances are you will have had many friends at school, had success in your studies and sport, be confident in yourself and your abilities and have a great paying job with great prospects for the future.
There are, of course, variables to both the examples above, everyone is different and has different experiences but I am sure you get the picture. The great news is that once you accept that you are a product of your past life then it is much easier to start the process of really discovering who the real you is. If your life is not what you want it to be then there is a fairly good chance it is that way because of thought and behavioural patterns and habits that you have learned from your environment as you have gone through the process of growing up. What you need to accept now is that it does not have to be this way, you have a choice, you can stay as you are and keep getting the results you have been getting or you can deliberately take a look at yourself and decide to change the things you do not like which in turn will change the level of success you get in your life.
The first option is easy, the second option is hard. Changing the way you think and act takes commitment, perseverance, will, courage and help but as scary as it is to take that first step, the rewards you will reap for doing so will be exponential. The key thing to remember here is that if you truly want to have success in all aspects of your life then getting rid of the thoughts/habits/environmental influences that are holding you back must be number one on your to do list!
