Entrepreneurialism – It Is Not What You Say, It’s How You Say It!!

The Road To Success In The World Of Entrepreneurialism

There are many ways to get your point of view across and there are many ways that your point of view can be taken. What is important to remember is that it really does not matter what you say, it matters how you have said it. This is true in all aspects of your life – business or personal, spiritual or social but when it comes to Entrepreneurialism it is especially important because when it all comes down to it, that is what will decide your level of success.

I remember going to church every Sunday when I was growing up and I remember dreading it if I knew certain priests were leading the service because their sermons were unbelievably dull (to a young girl) and always made me want to sleep and I never remembered what the lesson was. I also recall being excited when I knew other certain priests were to be giving the days sermon because these priests had a way of projecting passion and making me understand the lesson, their voices oozed conviction and belief and you left the service feeling invigorated and infused with purpose. It is exactly the same with Entrepreneurialism.

I believe this is one of the major keys to success in Entrepreneurialism. You may think you do not know the right words or phrases or have all the information you need to make a convincing presentation of your goods or services and that may be true but if you truly believe that what you have will benefit your prospective customers then what you say will not matter as long as you can show them a few simple things:

  1. Will it solve the problem?

  2. Can it be used easily?

  3. Will you help me if I get stuck?

  4. How much?

  5. Proof that it works.

If you can provide these things and provide them well then your success is assured. People will buy into you, not what you have to offer. If you provide value above and beyond what they expect then you have them and they will return to you time and time again……that is the key to Entrepreneurialism.

Leading In Entrepreneurialism

Lets explore leading a team of people……Would you follow someone who was boring, bossy, manipulative, irresponsible and uncharismatic? Probably not, or at least not for long. In Entrepreneurialism most people want to follow someone who is fun to be with, will teach them value, is respectful of herself/himself and those around her/him, is open to ideas and is inspirational.

The greatest thing you can do for yourself is to give of yourself and you do that by becoming the best version of you that you can be. This does not mean being conceited or prideful, it means becoming a <a href=”http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Student” rel=”nofollow” student of your trade and learning all you can about all aspects of it so you can share this with those who seek to know more themselves.

If you decide you want to be a doctor then it is your duty to learn all you can about your chosen area of expertise so you can better help those that come to you when they want your specific skills. If you want to be a teacher then it is your responsibility to learn all you can about the subject you wish to teach so you can convey the meaning of the topic correctly.  In Entrepreneurialism learning about all aspects of having a business, running a business, being a leader and actually leading is vital to your success. You cannot hope to ever be successful at anything if you do not have a passion for that thing and undertake to know as much about it as is possible.

As children we know when we are really being told off and when we are being warned, friendly like, by the tone that is used by the person admonishing us, just as we sense that the teacher that is able to reach all of the kids in his class and help them learn really cares because it shows in the tone of his lessons. Most of us know when we are being conned or when the other person is trying to bluff their way through a conversation, we know when people are being genuine or not and that is exactly what people are looking for when they come on to our dance floor. They want to know they have the real thing, that the deal is good and if they have any miss-steps then you will be there to put them right, they want to see that they can do the steps and look good as well and when all is done, they can take a bow and soak up the applause. Entrepreneurialism is a skill to be learned and the best Entrepreneurs are the people who genuinely believe in and love what they do and have the ability to transfer that belief to others and inspire them to join in the vision they have that backs it up.
