Marketing Strategies to Follow for Internet Marketing
In a previous post, 3 Step Attraction Marketing Blueprint, I shared the 3 simple steps to attraction marketing. With this post I would like to share some of the essential marketing strategies that I use while following that attraction marketing blueprint.
Compare the Marketing Strategies of the Top Producers
First, whatever it is you are promoting or you are planning to promote, take a look at what the top producers are doing. Don’t just look at what they might be teaching, really look at what they are doing. Compare 3, 5, or 10 of these top producers and look for things in common. These individuals are making the most sales, pulling in the most leads; How? This is what you are looking for.
Now many of them probably already have a list that they have contacted to make sales and acquire sign-ups. That’s one thing in common right there. So you want to be building your own list by using an auto-responder.
Some other points of commonality are they all have a website or blog, and offer some type of free training or boot-camp.
Let’s recap. We found 3 things in common:
- They have built and continue to build a list that they can contact and follow-up with using an auto-responder
- They own their own personal website or blog.
- They offer free training, which is often only made available after a person has entered their contact information. This contact information, usually name and email, is captured and saved in their auto-responder for later use and follow-up.
How to Determine Your Target Market
I was able to determine my own target market by using the marketing strategies above. I became an affiliate for a lead generation tool so my target market became network marketers who needed to not only know how to generate lots of leads, but also needed a tool or system to help them do this. By the way, you don’t have to limit yourself to a single target market. The target market in this example? Struggling network marketers.
How to Determine Their Pain
If you join a company that sells vitamins and minerals your obvious target market will be health concise people looking for good vitamins and minerals to supplement their diets. You can take it further though. You can target network marketers who are trying to sell vitamins and minerals just like you, but they need more leads or need to learn how to do it more effectively. So you can pick up a lead generation system and marketing training to assist these struggling network marketers. The target market’s pain? Lack of leads and lack of marketing knowledge.
How to Find the Right Remedy
After you’ve determined their pain it should be much easier to figure out what they need as a solution. In the example above we had network marketers who sell vitamins and minerals struggling to make these sales. So they need a tool and training on how to make sales more effectively. The remedy or solution for your target market’s pain? A lead generation system to help them generate daily leads, and the proper marketing training on how to do this effectively.
What I do In a Nutshell
I personally market MLSP to those struggling with leads because it doesn’t matter what business they are promoting, every business needs a steady flow of leads. MLSP allows you to tie your primary business into the system, and also offers valuable marketing training that is useful for any business owner. In addition to that, you are given free training webinars that are tied to lead capture pages so that you can build your own list.
I also use Empower Network because it gives me my own personal blogging platform. Sure, you could get a free blogging platform, but this one with Empower Network is already set-up for you. I joined and 10 minutes later I was creating my very first blog post. Not to mention my Empower Network blog is much easier to rank on the first page of Google because it already carries domain age and page rank authority. If you start with a free blog, you’ll have to set it up yourself, and it will take longer to rank because it’s a new and fresh website. Empower Network is just faster and easier for a newbie and the non-techie folks.
I use my blog to post what I believe is useful information for internet marketers, I target specific keywords, and then I promote it to rank on the first page of Google. If you join my team in either MLSP or Empower Network you gain access to more in-depth training on how to rank your content on the first pages of the search engines. If done right, this leads to highly targeted organic traffic.
Here is an example of one of the MLSP landing pages with free training that you may be interested in.
