Everyday you are investing in yourself. The question is, what are you investing in?
Investing in Yourself Daily
The reality is that everyday you are investing in yourself, but what are you investing in? Many people invest in the wrong things. They invest their time in watching TV, playing video games, etc.
Now, I have been guilty of this myself in the past. I use to game, what seemed like, all the time; or I should say during all of my free time. I still took care of my responsibilities, barely, but whenever I had some free time I was gaming.
I’m not saying their is anything wrong with gaming, and I still consider myself a gamer; but it should be done in moderation, just like many other things. I rarely game anymore, but it’s something that I still really enjoy doing.
Let me get back to the point I want to make. Investing your time in some TV, gaming, etc. is cool; but if that’s all you’re doing then you are wasting lots of time. Speaking of time, it is one of the most valuable things we have. Time can’t be bought, traded, or borrowed. We have what we have, and that’s it.
Better Things to Invest In
Instead of investing most of your time in front of the TV (or plug in whatever time-waster you know of or participate in), invest in better things. Things that will improve who you are; and impact your life in a positive way. As YOU improve, you can improve the world around you.
Invest more time with your family and friends, invest in personal development, invest in increasing your skill sets and knowledge, invest in building your own business, etc.
Again, most people invest in the wrong things…
- They invest their time in TV…
- They invest their money in Liabilities…
Where they should invest their time and money is THEMSELVES…by investing in positive and good things.
When you decide to invest in yourself (personal development, training, coaching, mentors, etc.), that is when your business and life will start to shine!
