Not Enough Time in Your Day?

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Excuses are a huge reason for most people failing the things they start. Specifically, the excuse of not enough time stops so many people from going after their dreams and achieving their goals.

So what sets them apart from the people who DO achieve thier dreams, with the same 24 hours each day?

Sacrifice. And a decision to STOP making excuses and to START taking action.

This little graphic sums it up pretty nicely…

Not Enough Time?

Puts it into perspective doesn’t it? And if you are saying “yeah, but…” then stop right there before you make another excuse! Seriously, excuses are a habit, and so is success. If you want to be successful you have to replace your habit of making excuses with the habits of success.

making excuses quoteAnd it starts with taking the time, and yes, there is enough of it. Will you have to sacrifice some sleep? Yep. Maybe a meal here and there? Uh-huh. Even some family time for a little while? Most likely.

You will have to do whatever it takes! Period. That’s not to say you will have to make those sacrifices forever, just until you become a master at whatever you are doing so it becomes easier and takes less time.

Not enough time in your day? Make time. If it’s important you will make the time, if not, you’ll make excuses. So how important is your dream?

Of course if you are OK with where you are in life right now, fantastic! Stay there. But if you want a change, if you are not living the life of your choosing, if you are not living your DREAM. It’s time to stop making excuses and start taking action.
