Hello. I wanted to share with you the idea of thinking about the future today. That’s because we all do in some way or another. We try to mold the outcome of the many factors affecting us each day, in the best possible way such that our tomorrow has a hope of being an improvement on today.
That is unless we have been beaten down into an apathetic state where we are convinced that we can’t do anything about it.
Think about the future positively.
Thinking about the future is a good thing, if we intend to make a difference.
I realise that we can have an feeling of apathy about certain subjects individually.
We might consider that we can’t do anything about the government, or taxes, or death.
Well, we can. And thanks to many people who also know that they can have an effect, we can join forces and as a team create the changes that we want.
That’s what being part of a team does for an individual. If the leaders have a positive outlook and project towards a beneficial goal for all the team then an individual can reap the benefits from participating, and adding their own skills and abilities to that of the team.
I recall in the 1970′s the first audio was digitized and played back, sparking the revolution for music and audio, and from then on the digital explosion. Until today.
What we have today and take for granted was a total impossibility and far-fetched dreamers reality.
But, here we are.
Why women think about the future differently.
I observe my wife and see that her capacity to plan, organise and engage in multiple streams of time/event constructions often boggles me. Honestly, I wonder how she does it. I have a hard enough time just keeping up with what I’m supposed to be doing.
But my gorgeous just plans the weeks meals, transport, cleaning, birthdays, our three childrens coming and going, our three foster childrens visits and schooling, the house maintenance requirements (i.e. what I should do) the decorations, flowers, painting and gardening, looking after the dog and 3 cats, and the 19 fish….and it’s just normal routine.
Just thinking about all that makes my head spin!
So I’m very very happy to have found my wonderful wife. 31 years ago…
I have to admit life has been pretty good overall. We’ve had our highs and lows, but we never gave up on creating the future and we are doing so even more today than ever!
Truthfully, the internet will probably be the key element in the bringing together of all peoples and cultures, as we expand our consideration of others and our planet.
I like thinking about the future in this way. I know that the film-makers of the apocalyptic tomorrow wouldn’t agree. Or perhaps we can avoid the apocalypse by being made aware of the possible disaster that can occur if we don’t act.
I’m part of the team here in the Empower Network, and for good reason. The future needs to be made now and ensuring that I can create a stable financial situation is a top priority. I don’t need seven residences in different countries, but securing the future needs of my three children and their families has and always will be my driving reason why.
Who knows, our future might include this sooner than we imagine! :
