The Mental Social Box Finally Opened

Just a few months ago, I was locked in a ‘mental social box‘.

I hated talking to strangers and even hanging out with certain friends.

I literally hang out with just 1 friend and it was occasionally.

I felt like I could not relate to people. Really, I though I was weird.

But till this day, I still feel that I’m weird in that I don’t think the same way most people do.

I don’t even have a television set in my house.

And I got criticized for this because its really against what’s popular in society today.

Have a family, watch tv and ‘live happily ever after’.

Back to my Mental Social Box

Since I thought and think I’m super weird and could not relate to most people,

I just neglected hanging out with most people. I thought I had problems that most people don’t have.

I suffered from a low self-steam and just thought I wasn’t ‘good enough’ to fit in with most people.

Its like I was Steve Urkel. Have you ever felt like that?

I literally felt like this even after I became a christian.

It wasn’t until I began a new journey in my life until I finally broke free from my mental social box.

Ever since, I can’t seem to stop talking.

My family members stay that I don’t have an ‘off button’.

My friends and everyone else around see something different, in a good way.

They are beginning to see how I have grown.

The reason is because when I talk, they can relate to what I’m saying and they see knowledge and passion coming out of my mouth.

Where as before, I was just plain hated speaking to people.

I was able to speak to my family before but not at the level that I can speak to them now.

They have seen my growth and great part is that I’m learning new things relevant to life and business every day.

Needless to say, I have broken FREE out of my mental social box.

The funny part was that after I broke free out of my mental social box, I found out that one of my three sisters had the same problem I was having.

I’m in the process of helping her break lose because we all have valuable insights to share with people.

And if she does what I did, she can begin to share those valuable insights that can help others grow in their life.

What I did to escape from my social prison was simply took action and joined the Empower Network.

Now, I can talk to anyone, at any time without ever being afraid and loving it.

I have even preached in my local church AFTER learning the stuff I learned in the Empower Network.

Then I found out that I’m not the only one who struggles to connect and even enjoy hanging out.

My sister, one of three, whom I love very much, had the same problem.
