A capture page works like the front of a supermarket, which is the sort of comparison that makes a technical subject stick. Jose Diaz wrote a lot of posts like that, and across ninety of them he covers most of what somebody building an online business bumps into.
The working material is search and prospecting. Where backlinks come from without paying for them, what off page optimisation actually consists of, why most capture pages fail, how to prospect without the script everybody uses. He also reviews the tools and syndication services everybody buys on somebody else's recommendation, and says plainly which ones disappointed him.
Company reviews take up a large share, and they lean towards defending the industry rather than examining it, so read them with that in mind.
The personal posts are the surprise. He writes about migrating from the Dominican Republic, and about studying the Bible until it dismantled the beliefs he had been handed, which is braver than anything in the marketing half.
Take the search posts for the craft and the personal ones for the person.
