Answer These 5 Questions And Triple Your Email Conversions

If you want better email conversions, you’re going to have to know what your prospects are thinking. In other words you must read their minds. Not really, but you do need to know the psychological side of email marketing, by having an idea of what the prospects would want to know before buying your product.

These Are Prospects’ 5 Questions You Must Answer To Improve Email Conversions:

1. What are you offering me?

Obviously, to get better email conversions, you must let your prospects know what you are offering them. They need details and they need to know why your product is the best out there. Why is it better than the competition? Why do people need this product?

2. What does it do for me?

Then, they need to know what the benefits are of them having this product. Help them visualize their life with the new product and how it will positively impact their life. This is definitely of the most important questions you must answer in email marketing because no one will buy anything that doesn’t improve their life.

The “gurus” of email marketing all came together here to teach you their ways.

3. Why you should I believe you? / Who are you?

Another very important aspect in email marketing and email conversions, is giving prospects a reason to purchase from you. Why would they purchase from you and not someone else? Do you have certain credentials that set you apart? Offering some kind of free bonus is always a great strategy to get people to buy something. People always respond to free stuff.

For example, let’s say a kid wants to go out for lunch. It’s a small kid, about 5 or 6 years old. Their choices are going to either McDonald’s or Chickfila. Let’s say Chickfila doesn’t have toys with kids meals and McDonald’s has the new batman toy with every kids meal. Do you think the kid will pick the kids meal with no toy or the kids meal with the batman toy? Unless the kid hates Batman or just loves Chickfila, the kid will almost always pick the one with the toy. It is a very effective marketing strategy, whether it’s kids or adults.

Some companies will even give you a free ipad or something if you buy their car, instead of someone else’s. If someone is on the fence about a car, I’m willing to bet money that they would pick the one with the free ipad more times than not. Bonuses are always an effective way to create more email conversions as well.

You also want to build up a lot of authority, because people follow leaders, not followers.

4. What is the cost/investment?

Another important thing to do is be honest with prospects about the cost. Don’t hide it and then make them find out the cost the hard way. This will hurt customer loyalty, if you keep them in the dark about exactly what the cost or investment is because they will not trust you. No trust = bad email conversions = no sales = BROKE.

5. How do I get it?

Last but not least,  you need to give your prospects a solid call to action in your emails. Don’t just tell them to “buy now,” tell them, step by step, exactly what they must do to complete the purchase. Don’t assume they know what to do, because a lot of people won’t and it will hurt your email conversions if you don’t be specific and make it easy to buy.
