Michele Gutierrez

You were taught something about money before you were old enough to argue, and most people never go back and check it. Michele Gutierrez lists what she absorbed: that money was hard to come by, that anybody with a lot of it had probably been dishonest, that respecting rich people more than everybody else was simply good manners. Then she works out what that belief cost her.

The other posts are small and unforced. She takes a whole day off from the business rather than the job, and spends an hour in a supermarket messing about with her boyfriend instead of hurrying home. She writes about climbing a mountain and about why the tiring part is the part you remember. She writes about losing somebody and what it taught her.

There are only five posts here and none of them is a tutorial. This is somebody thinking out loud early on.
