My Glory Days in MyVideoTalk

In my 11 years in Network Marketing, till date, MyVideoTalk is my biggest success story.

It was 2008 June….

We were living in a place called Shimoga, Karnataka.

Me and my family was living in a dingy house where you can’t go inside the bedroom during the day without electric lights.

The house was termite infected and my wife was forced to use all sorts of home remedies to control that pest.

I left home and settled in Bangalore, leaving my wife and two daughters alone 300 km away in Shimoga.

Because my leader told me, you cannot build MyVideoTalk in Shimoga because Shimoga is doesn’t have that many net savvy people.

I was living alone in the MyVideoTalk Team office in Koramangala, working my butt off the

whole day.

Showed presentations after presentations, learned the products inside out and became The best product demostrator in MyVideoTalk. ( I am not bragging here, you can check this fact)

But money was hard to come by. I had to maintain my family in Shimoga and also cannot live a very low life in Bangalore where I was projecting myself a one of the successful mvtian.

As the bullshit cliche goes, “Fake it until you make it”, that’s what I was trying in those

days in MyVideoTalk.

But that sort of a fraudulent thinking was taking toll on my physical and mental health.

Add to that, my irregular food habbits. I fell prey to diabetes and urinary infection around march of 2009.

Came back home and recuperated for a month or so.

I started doubting my ability to hang on to this business till I can make it.

Most of my team mates thought my honeymoon with MyVideoTalk is over before I can lay my eyes on the bride (LOL).

But if your WHY is strong, the facts don’t count, right?

How I became a 1 Star Ruby Presidents’ Club Member In MyVideoTalk

The compensation plan of MyVideoTalk was binary.

I had taken 2 ids and was building my powerleg from my 2nd id. Though I tried hard to build both the legs of my binary, it wasn’t happening. Gradually I had a elephant powerleg.

To those who don’t know binary plans, to make money in a binary plan, you need to build your left leg and right leg of the binary. However big your one leg is built, you won’t make a dollar without balancing it on the other side.

Imagine me not at all making money and posing like a big achiever in MyVideoTalk.

It was hell inside and hell outside for me.

The battle within my mind, the urge to pack up and go back home was so demanding, I was losing my mental balance day by day.

But when you have clarity of intention and your purpose is unwavering, universe manifests whatever you are thinking and asking for…

I got one person from Shillong out of the blue who was like a knight with a shining armour.

His name was Amit Goel and I haven’t met anyone with more energy and confidence than him in my life. 

Once he was the Meghalay State Level Tennis Champion.

Once he got in the business I started supporting him sitting in Bangalore and him in Shillong Meghalaya, a distance of 2500 KM.

On 13th May 2009, Amit Goyal helped me log in 54 ids of 200$ each in one week and I became the One Star Ruby Presidents Club member in MyVideoTalk.

That is my biggest achievement so far in my 11 years in network marketing.

It was one of the most demanding and the most rewarding days which I spent in MyVideoTalk

But I loved every second of it. It’s a learning curve which showed me how hard it is to get success in big companies with small compensation plans.

Because MyVideoTalk was paying me a measly, tiny, wussie commission of 6%.

Now with my present company I am earning a whopping, unbelievable 100% commission.

Within 5 months, I have surpassed in income from Empower Network, my present company, the income I earned in MyVideoTalk.

And this is just the start…

Empower Network has, in 15 months, paid out more than 40 million dollars in commission…

Empower Network has crossed 100,000 paid customers recently…

We are ranked #409 worldwide in Alexa ranking and #164 in United States…

In the first week of November 2012, Empower Network did the almost impossible act of paying ONE MILLION DOLLARS in commission to it’s affiliates.

Our top distributor has earned a world record amount of 700,000$ in his first 28 days in Empower Network.

I consider my MyVideoTalk days as the rock solid foundation on which I am going to build my mansion called Empower Network.
