Empower Women: Narendra Modi’s FICCI Speech

I get mesmerized when I watch Narendra Modi. Today was no exception when I watched Narendra Modi’s FICCI Speech and was amazed oratory skills.

For your information FICCI stands for Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and

Industry.

He touched on various women empowerment ideas today.

In Narendra Modi’s FICCI Speech he narrated how Gujarat Government amended a law so that they give a village a special package if that village elects a All Women Panchayat.

Because of that small reform now Gujarat has more than 300 villages wholly run and managed by panchayat comprising of all women.

And Narendra Modi told a team one such panchayat came to meet him.

Narendra Modi asked them a question, “What is the one thing you want to do to better your village?”

He was amazed to hear their reply. They told, “In the 5 years we have got, we want to remove poverty totally from our village.”

Narendra Modi was amazed at such a lofty and divine goal. He was narrating this to show to the audience, women are no less than men in any spere of life.

NaMo was regaling the audience with anecdotes, stories and took a dig at his punching bag,  Congress Party Vice President, Rahul Gandhi.

He told stories after stories of women creating history and saving families by being the bread winners.

Narendra Modi’s FICCI Speech is one of the best I have watched about such an important subject, Women Empowerment.

He raised concern over the alarming female infanticide which is becoming bigger and bigger in India day by day.He also said because of female infanticide so rampant in Indian society, there is an abnormal sex ration which is making it almost impossible for eligible men to get women for marriage.

This is biggest fallout of female infanticide.

Also Narendra Modi took the example of legendary Amul success story.

He narrated how women have become the foundation on which Amul’s success story is built.

One more significant governmental initiative Modi narrated was…

In Gujrat, if a property is registered in the name of a woman, the stamp duty is totally waived. After this, there is a significant increase in the number of women in whose name the property is registered thus paving the way for Women Empowerment.

This shows, if the leader is willing to go the distance to change the status quo, anything is possible.

It was a fantastic speech.

Narendra Modi’s FICCI Speech today was a lesson in how to touch the core issue of your speech without being a bore and how to be funny and good humored on a serious subject like women empowerment.

In my view Narendra Modi is the best bet for us to come out of the cesspool the congress has pushed us in to.

It’s a do or die for all of us the eligible voters to shoo the congress out of power forever and make Narendra Modi as our next Prime Minister.

If we don’t make that happen, it’s India’s loss and Gujarat’s gain.

Let’s join hands and make NaMo our next Prime Minister.
