My Perfect Day In Kauai
I have been doing an exercise called “my perfect day”.
Each night before bed, I take some time to describe in writing my perfect day.
For me that day begins in my beach house in Kauai. The more I do this exercise the more vivid I see the things in my day.
The sliced fruit I have for breakfast, the sounds I hear when my eyes open, the type of floor I step on to when getting out of bed. I see my kitchen, the views from each of my bay windows, the horses I adore as I make my mountain hike for the day.
This has become so vivid in my life, I’ve started planning my eventual move to Kauai.
In this post I wanted to share some videos I found in an effort to share the experience of Kauai with you. I used to vacation here every year so I’m somewhat familiar with the island.

Queens Bath In Kauai
I had the pleasure of visiting Queens Bath and swimming in the pools during a visit in 2004. In later years when I went to visit, the time of year was different as well as the tide so I wasn’t able to visit again.
The Secrets of Kauai
On my last visit to Kauai I went alone (left the kids at home) and went on a spiritual journey there. I hired a tour guide that took me on a hike to a beautiful waterfall, showed me how they honor the wind, the trees, the earth in Kauai. She also asked me to pick flowers I liked along the path and made me a handmade lei from them.
Also booked a horseback ride and no one but me showed up so I was alone that journey as well.
Was an incredible, peaceful visit and experience.
The spiritual and healing energy of Kauai
Much like Sedona, Kauai is known to be a place of great energy and said to have a vortex. If you know about Sedona and her energy, this makes sense to you.
All I know is that when I’m in Kauai, I feel an incredible peace, love, and calm. I feel as if I’m home – a feeling I’ve not experienced anywhere else (yet).
