Freedom Lifestyle San Diego Day 2: What I Learned About Fear

Sharing some thoughts on Day 2 of my Freedom Lifestyle having fun in San Diego
I started off the day (after the Think and Grow Rich Mastermind Call) playing a game of laser tag on the grass of Mission Bay.
To be honest, I was a little reluctant at first.
Then I reminded myself, I didn’t come all the way out to San Diego to play small!
and when was the last time I got to start my day running around like a kid playing laser tag
I just decided to DO IT AFRAID….
I wasn’t really scared ….can’t get hurt, but I was more worried about looking stupid, would I know what to do, would I get killed in the game and never leave base camp. lol
Stupid stuff really.
Here’s what occurred to me.
If we are afraid to step out of our comfort zone and do things that don’t feel natural, that don’e feel comfortable, or things that might embarrass us…..nothing ever changes.
How boring is that? That’s not what I signed up for.
I want to live life FULL OUT and enjoy the freedom lifestyle and that means doing some stuff that makes me uncomfortable.
I strapped on my gun, hooked myself up, and joined the red team preparing for battle!
Freedom Lifestyle – Speak Your Truth
As the day began, this theme of getting out of my comfort zone continued. The seminar I was there for began at 11:00 am and to encourage questions, interactions, any time someone spoke out they would receive a ticket stub. At the end of the weekend, there would be a raffle and the winner would received something called “the tub of love”. A huge plastic container filled with books, DVD’s, weekend getaways, etc.
When I heard this…..I had no intention of speaking out. I’d rather just watch.
Then, during an exercise we did – I volunteered to be the team captain for our table and I got a ticket stub.
I was addicted.
Anytime the speaker asked a question like ” what did you learn” during a particular segment, I was ready to answer.
Now, to some people this might seem stupid and a very simple thing to do.
But have you ever wanted to say something but you felt shy, or you weren’t sure of your answer, or you didn’t want to look stupid, etc?
I imagine the majority of you can relate to this. Much safer to just watch and observe right?
Is that really the way to go through life playing it BIG? Silent?
NOPE
I failed at the end of the night!
I was making progress all day being willing to get out of my comfort zone until it came down to the last event of the evening. A hypnotist.
I did NOT raise my hand to volunteer and maybe this video will give you an idea of why. Enjoy

Fortunately, no matter what your idea of the freedom lifestyle, I won’t be asking you to play laser tag and yell out answers at a meeting.
But what ARE you willing to do to get the lifestyle you want and deserve?
It will be uncomfortable, it will require you do some things you don’t know how to do.
I promise, it won’t be anything dangerous or life threatening! 🙂
