Today is International Women’s Day, and it is a time to celebrate women around the world – their strength, their beauty, their courage, their kindness, their nurturing nature and their love. I dedicate this post to all Superwomen around the globe!
The best way I can pay homage to the great women out there is by writing a post about women who have impacted my life.
International Women’s Day
First and foremost, is my mother. She has taught me so much throughout my life so far and I owe her so much in terms of learning to live by following my own heart, intuition and living with kindness towards others.
She has lived through may trials and tribulations in her life but she has always followed her own heart and even in the lowest moments, has tapped into an incredible strength within her to persevere and keep moving towards happiness.
I have learned kindness, honesty, forgiveness, strength and the ability to truly follow my own heart thanks to her – and now continue to learn to follow my dreams and passion, just as the way she continues to do in her own life.
We now live across a greater distance but one of my driving forces right now, is to not only live with freedom for myself and Romeo, but to be able to retire her and provide the freedom for her to live with the kind of freedom that she deserves.
This is one of the amazing things about Empower Network – it has allowed for my husband and I, to quit our jobs, move to the beaches of Costa Rica, but far beyond that, it has given me a true vehicle to help those in my life that I love the most – and then, to continue spreading that freedom to others in the world.
It is a true vehicle of empowerment.
So on this day, International Women’s Day…
I dedicate this post to my mother, and to all the women out in the world that I love – my grandmother, my cousins, my sisters, my aunts, my friends and my new found superwomen in empower network.
And this post would not be complete if I did not send out a little love to my husband Romeo, who made this photo for me today:
