1. What is Facebook REALLY about?

   Think about it – it may seem simplistic but Facebook is name FACEbook.

   It’s about FACES. It’s about people. It’s about human connection.

   People LOVE seeing pictures of other people – they love getting to know them, they love stories and love learning about others.

   Facebook is literally a ‘people watching’ site.

   So, one thing I have tested and realized over time, is we ALWAYS get way more engagement and interaction on posts ABOUT us, and even more so on posts that have pictures of us!

   Now, this doesn’t mean EVERY post has to have that, but sprinkling in a few posts with FACE pictures as well as stories, will help you increase reach and engagement.

2. Few People Utilize The Options Facebook Has

   Since I love to experiment and constantly test things, I am always testing different features, and one thing I have noticed that has helped us dramatically increase reach and engagement is using as many of Facebook’s options as possible.

   They are there for a reason.

   Facebook gives you options like uploading videos (which is a HUGE way to increase your traffic and reach), posting multiple photos (the more people ‘click’ on your posts, the more reach you will get), using the tagging option, and celebrating milestones, just to name a few.

   Just incorporating the ones listed above – which VERY FEW people actually use – you will see an almost immediate increase in your reach because Facebook WANTS you to utilize ALL of its options.

   Test out the different post ‘Types’, and really dig into what Facebook offers and you will begin to see your engagement and reach increase.
