Tips on writing a book!

No matter what you are writing…whether you are writing a fiction story or a true story you can use these tips!  I personally love writing fiction stories…it is so awesome to write from your own imagination!

I want to make it clear it doesn’t matter what your writing.

I have ideas that run through my head a lot.  I’m a very creative person and my problem with this was for the longest time was I couldn’t decide how I wanted it to go and I kept changing what it was going to be about.

That was because I would get so many awesome ideas so it just made it tough and well because of this it took me forever to even really get started with the book

So if your like me and you got a lot of ideas going through your head and then it’s hard for you to write your book or short story then I’m going to show you how to stop wasting your time with it.
My first tip on writing a book today is to not change what you decided to write about!
This is so important and if you are like me…someone that has a lot of ideas going through your head then it’s easy to want to change the story you have.

So, I’ am going to suggest that you stick with what you decided to write about and only change things that you think really need changing and nothing big where you will literally have to rewrite the book.

I also want to share with you something that I at first didn’t really know about until I took some kind of online class where I learned that to really keep your book organized and to not get confused is to have an outline of your book.

Basically it consists of your chapter names and a summary of what the chapter is going to be about.  (Don’t get stressed out about the chapter names yet, just pick one for now and then go back and decide what you want to call it for sure later!)

This applies for the title as well you don’t have to have the best title at the very beginning.  Just focus on what your writing about!

So, there you have it there is some tips on writing a book!

I also suggest to have a small notebook with you at all times of possible.  There are these little tiny notebooks you can put in your pockets or your purse.
