What It Takes To Be Good At Writing!

In this blog post I am going to go over some key things that will help you become a good writer!

The first thing I did when it came to writing and I still do it till this day is read what other great authors have written. I am talking about writers that have best sellers!

A great example of that is Stephen King!  I’ve been a fan of his since I was a kid and I’ve always loved his work whether it was a movie or his books.

The key is though is to not just read the book just because your fan but read it and pay attention to how they are writing.

I know that might be hard to do for some of you lol especially if you are big fans of the writer but it’s a great way to start to learn how to be good at writing.

Really compare your writing to the great authors books!  Now don’t make yourself feel horrible about it because all of us start at the beginning but just really compare and learn from it.

Usually if your embarrassed about your writing then your on the right track because that will push you to be a better writer.  If that is truly what you want to do!

Another good reason for reading great written books and consistently reading them is that you will be more aware of bad writing.

One thing I know for a fact is that the more you write and the more you keep working on your writing plus you pay attention to how your writing the better writer you will be!

The last thing I want to share with you about writing is “the seven words that make you a better writer”.   To check it out click here…I thought it was really great!

Make sure you comment below with what you think about writing or my writing tips and if you have any tips please share them!

Thanks and I appreciate you all!
