Change – What Does It Mean To You?

In a prior blog I wrote about change and how it is the essence of life. I also wanted to be sure that you understood my experience as a uranium miner when my light went out way underground and I had to wait for some help, since it was so pitch black. As I learned then, you can always chase away the darkness with a new light, and, so long as you shift to a positive view, you can understand and appreciate that life from a whole new perspective.
As I pointed out in yesterday’s blog, perhaps one of the most important aspects of life you can apply that light to are the relationships that you are a part of in life. Throughout your lifetime a good many of those relationships will disappear, and not necessarily because of you. Even those past relationships can be the source of needed change, within your mindset. As a child, teenager or young adult, you no doubt may have had some fun and joyful experiences with others. Many of us might think, “well that has no bearing on me now.” That’s simply a matter of choice.
Are you over burdened with stress, worries and or doubts? Being able to relax and simply reflect on those past childhood experiences you had, means you can in fact tap into another facet of change, which is fun. Think about and focus on some of the most positive experiences you can positively recall. Imagine yourself doing that at least twice a day for the next week. Not essential, but if possible look for a different experience each time.
So where do you go from here? Have you noticed any change in the level of stress, worries and or doubts I mentioned earlier, as you complete those exercises? As you unveil the fun and joy you experienced in the past, you can do what I learned to do. You can learn how to allow the darkness to be chased away by the light. Remember something else though. The light can and will reveal the opportunities, but not the details.
Your true creative efforts, those which will result in potential change, must come about as a consequence of your commitment to believe in yourself and increase the value of life. Begin the process of creating a more creative and happy life.
