An Alternative

Stress. How would you define stress? Do you see it simply as a form of tension that surrounds you? Have you ever searched for a true alternative means of relief from stress?
Please understand that virtually every one of us has at sometime experienced a stressful situation; say such as an automobile accident, loss of something valuable, loss of a loved one. Most assuredly, if you were in an automobile accident you might very well have experienced a lot of tension, based primarily on the nature and severity of the accident. I know people who have, and sought the advice and assistance of both a physical therapist and a psychologist, which made a lot of sense and resulted in needed change.
Unfortunately, so often we fail to recognize worrying about something we have lost, not only physically, but also mentally, such as an idea we considered relative to our lives and which no longer seems to work. The older you become the more likely this type of stress becomes something you must deal with more often.
The loss of a loved one, whether parent, spouse or children can have a serious impact on our lives. Yet even that sort of stress can be converted to something positive. Here is a link to a video on Big Geek Daddy you want to watch in its entirety. I believe it will offer you a whole new perspective on life. http://biggeekdad.com/2013/04/pay-it-forward-jayden-style/
So where do you go from here? Well the reality of these types of stress or tension, hinges primarily on you who is experiencing it. Not simply someone outside you. Your commitment to releasing your mindset from it, can only be made and enforced by you personally.
Hopefully you may recall from a previous article that fear, mistakes and errors can also be considered an asset, but only if you elect to stop and ask yourself the following. “What have I learned from this mistake? How could I apply that to my life now and in the future, so I could see this as an advantage?”
It’s entirely up to you, but virtually every single stress related issue in life can and must be challenged, if you want to experience true life. Just look at how so many of our veterans have lost limbs and yet refuse to give up. They are some of the best examples in life.
