Success Approach #2

Restored from the Empower Network archive (2011–2017), lightly edited to meet our current advertising standards. Views are the original author’s.

Continuing along the path I wrote about yesterday this approach to success is simply the 2nd one and we still have five more after this. Realistically however you must understand your self-development hinges on all of these combined and adhered to.

The impact of negative thoughts, are often times beyond our comprehension. A good many of us have been taught to believe in our limitations and not our self-development. On top of that our negative experiences distort our sense of responsibility and success. Somehow we tend to believe our primary responsibility is to limit ourselves and all too often, on a daily basis, we do so with a negative thought.

If you’re not willing to confront such a challenge, how can you expect it to go away? What impacts you personally, exists only in your mind and no one else’s. I realize for instance, a psychologist may be able to assist you, but the ultimate outcome depends first upon you. You must be committed to seeing and feeling yourself experiencing more relaxation and happiness.

Asking yourself “What has my happiness got to do with my success?” It has been proven time and again that the most successful people in life never gave up. They refused to allow their belief in their personal responsibility and success to be distorted by negative thoughts. In the minds of these successful people they simply appreciated such thoughts as mere challenges, which could result in an expansion of a potential solution and thus better success.

If you simply elect to join them, and begin with such a shift in your thinking and personal criticism, you could open a bigger vision of your true potential. However once again, you and you alone get to decide when, how and where such a change can take place.

So where do you go from here? How about a daily self-evaluation for say the next seven days? Write down what are you saying, or thinking about to yourself, that is negative and at the end of the day, commit to not repeating them. More importantly think and write down something which will make you happy and relaxed. Something that will impact your belief in yourself and help you experience success.

It will be interesting to learn how much of an impact you can have by changing your thinking.
